Lighthouse Learning is an amazing pre-k and daycare center. I am a mom who was afraid to leave my child with anyone other than my parents and sister-in-law before Lighthouse Learning. Finding this center has been such a blessing; I cannot put into words how much I appreciate Ms. Melinda. She goes above and beyond for the children in her care. I absolutely love her and the entire staff here!
My experience was wonderful at the Lighthouse Center until several incidents starting happening with my son regarding Melinda and Melissa both. Melissa has slapped several children including mine at the center hard enough to leaves marks and Melinda has pull my sons hair and ears hard enough to make him cry. I have lost all trust and respect for this center. When I brought the incident it to Melinda’s attention that had occurred with Melissa she was more focused on defending her twin instead of being concerned about what had happen to my child. When she was confronted about the hair and ear pulling incident she claims she wasn't there that day but she was. So I have now removed my child from this center. YES state was notified!!
Can’t say nothing bad but praises of Lighthouse Learning. The staff is very friendly and supportive. They let you know throughout the day how your child is doing through their app. Pictures, notes, Dailey activities are posted on their app and you only see your child’s file. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking in the area. My child has been coming here for years and never had anything negative.
Love how sweet all of the staff is! My son loves his prek teacher Ms Melinda! She is so good with those kids because she really cares and loves what she does.
Had to take my son out of this daycare. He was bitten 6 times in 3 months and the staff done nothing to help resolve the problem. 4 times the bits broke threw his skin!
