I participated in the E-Tech Program a the Lighthouse. The program coordinator Eddie Perez is wonderful and extremely supportive. I was paired with two other visually impaired individuals, Kevin and Jonathan who have the same eye condition (low vision) as I have. The programs purpose is to match senior mentees with younger mentors to help us navigate the technologies of our cell phones and iPads. An excellent program! Kevin and Jonathan were patient, understanding and extremely knowledgeable. I recommend this program to anyone who is dealing with visual loss. WELL DONE!
I tried to refer patients in need of services here because of their great works and mission statement. After several calls/emails with no response from Ms. L.B. Miller and speaking with Ms. J. Katzen they prefer you send referrals to The Commission for the Blind. Why they took almost a year to tell me that after sending Referrals and trying to follow up for patients that are legally blind and have been waiting is beyond disappointing. Save yourself the time, they do not respond to Referrals!
I have been going to Lighthouse Guild for a decade and have always had very positive experiences there. (I should mention that I am not visually impaired, as their medical services are open to anyone.) I am extremely pleased with the care and treatment I get from my doctor, Dr. Tang, who is caring, attentive, knowledgeable, and always leaves me feeling very well taken care of!
The Lighthouse Guild is essential to our City. I am consistently amazed by the work and outreach they perform for those in need of visual assistance. i look forward each day to their social media posts, i am always learning something new, especially their reports on cutting edge cutting edge technology. Their podcasts, live broadcasts and facebook and X posts are engaging, creative and informative. Also entertaining and professionally prepared and presented. Please keep up the good work and i can't wait to see the next innovation they bring to our attention. Invaluable, creative and professional.
I went to Dr. Weinstein back in 2012. It’s 2025 now. Still to this day I havent found a better Doctor that has helped me like Dr. Weinstein has. I’m still using the solutions she gave me when I visited her. If I’m not living in a different state I would uae her top notch services. Thanks again.
