The Legacy Child Development Center

By far the best daycare experience. My son has been going here for over a year now and has had such a great experience. The owner, Ms.Dana is such a caring person. She has went above and beyond making little tweaks here and there at the daycare to give everyone a pleasant experience for their family. I truly recommend this daycare to anyone who is scared or weary about leaving your child in anyone else’s care. My son has been in Ms.Tanasia’s classroom and she frequently uploads updates on the app. She shares updates and funny moments at drop off and pick ups and truly has made me feel so comfortable having my son there. My mind is at ease when I drop him off knowing he’s with people who genuinely have his best interest at heart! Thank you so much Legacy for providing a safe and comfortable place for all of us working parents to rely on!

I truly enjoy taking my children to the childcare center. I have no complaints. I’m always updated through ProCare and regular conversations during pick-up. The staff keeps me informed about what my children need for the next day, and if they’re running short on anything, I receive notice ahead of time — never last minute. One thing I really appreciate is their communication and organization. The Director, Ms. Dana, is so sweet, humble, and kind. She’s always willing to answer questions and return phone calls promptly. I don’t work for the center, but I can honestly say I enjoy bringing my children here. Thank you, Ms. Dana, for always being available and providing excellent customer care!

I enjoyed the ease of registering my child. As a first time mom it is easy to become overwhelmed with all the things centers require for your child, however everything was in one place, clear, and easy to access. I always appreciate efficiency. I also feel at ease because there is a camera system and an online report of my child. My child has just started, however seeing how well thought out the center is to include these day to day systems reassures me I’ve picked a great learning environment for my child.

I took a tour of the facility in January. I was interested immediately because I just started a new job. I asked for the application to be sent and I was told by Keyshawna (assistant director) the only person who could send the application is the director (Ariana) and she was out of the office sick from the flu. I was anticipating for Ariana to be out of the office for 1-2 weeks. I called every week for 2 months. Ariana was out for two months from being sick. (as family members are juggling to keep my son until I could get him enrolled in the school) I couldn't understand how only one person could help with getting the process started. I finally spoke to Ariana ( March) and she told me the spot was available and she would send the application at the end of the business day. she never sent it. I finally took off of work (my new job) to come to the daycare to get my son enrolled, and I was told by the owner there will be no available spaces until September. She explains that the school runs on a first come first serve bases and whoever pays the deposit first is who the spot is given to. This was not explained to me over the 6 weeks that Ive been calling to get the process started. I have trouble understanding 1) despite expressing strong interest and requesting the application, I never received any meaningful assistance or candid communication. I called Keyshawna continuously and this was never advised to me. Keyshawna even said she would request for the owner to call me to help me. The owner never called. 2) after speaking with the owner she makes no effort to expedite the spot being available. Yet she becomes offended with me, because I expressed how I felt like as a parent I was treated unfairly. I have several friends who have enrolled their children the school and they told me they received the application from the owner, not the Director. I explained to the center my child was special needs and I am an active parent. I love to offer support to any of his teachers that are supportive to his success. I cannot help to feel my child was discriminated because of his disabilities. To be led on like this and in a state of limbo for this long makes no sense. 0/10 would never recommend

This center is what I have been looking for since my son started childcare. Everything is transparent and easy to follow. The Owner is super sweet and personable. This process has been such an ease and I’m super excited for my son to start!
