What Parents Say
The Learning Treehouse receives overwhelmingly positive reviews praising the caring staff, educational activities, and strong leadership, though two recent negative reviews raise concerns about handling of children with special needs and staff qualifications. Most families report their children are happy, well-cared-for, and excited to attend, with parents appreciating the security measures and communication systems in place.
My kids have been attending LTH since they were 1 and 2 and we love it! Staff and teachers treat the kids and parents like family. I am impressed at all of the fun and educational elements of their days, constant communication, clean environment, and knowledgeable and loving teachers. We are excited to continue attending, and looking forward to Pre-K!
My children have attended The Learning Treehouse since they were toddlers. We truly love this center. Jana, the owner, is so involved and does an amazing job keeping thing running smoothly. She knows all of the kids and parents by name and makes everyone feel welcome. The teachers and staff are incredible here. There are so many teachers who have been with the center for many many years which is amazing in an industry like childcare that has statistically high turnover. I absolutely love the security measures put in place (fingerprint scanning to enter the building) and convenient features like the Procare app for updates and communication. This is one of the best centers in the area and you can tell they put their heart and soul into taking care of our kids. We love The Learning Treehouse!
We LOVE the learning treehouse. My son adores his teachers and is always excited to go to daycare. I am so grateful he has a safe place to go while I am working. I recommend them to all my friends in the area!
I had high hopes for this school after waiting nearly two years for a spot, and we were excited when our son finally got in. However, my experience has been disappointing. Just three weeks after he started, the school labeled him as autistic based on similarities to another child who had been in the class years prior. They implemented various accommodations and interventions, but these were not supported by an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). When I discussed the school's approach with a psychologist, she indicated that the strategies being used might not be beneficial in the long term. I also inquired about the qualifications of Holly, the staff member who recommended that my son have his own toys and toy box. I was informed that she had experience as a parent of a child with special needs, which led her to feel equipped to handle such situations. Unfortunately, my son began to struggle socially and would cry in the mornings about going to school, as he faced challenges with other children who would throw or stomp on his toys, making him feel targeted. This situation ultimately led him to bite as a means of self-protection. In the end, I decided to withdraw him from the program, as it became apparent that it was not the right fit for his needs. I felt that there were several adults who were eager to diagnose young children without the necessary qualifications. On a positive note, we discovered that he has a speech delay rather than autism, which is a step toward finding the appropriate support for him moving forward.
This daycare has been incredible to work with over the last month. We had our at-home babysitter quit on us last minute in the middle of the school year and we were lucky enough to find an opening here. My daughter (18 months) absolutely loves it. The staff are nice and answer any questions we have within an hour. We feel confident that they have our kid's best interest in mind and have no doubt that you will feel the same way. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone needing daycare.
