RUN - Do not send your child here!!!!! These people are terrible people. The management truly does not care about you. They only care about money and working with "easy" kids that do not have any behvaiors. They are unwilling to work with your child to help them grow. The teachers are poorly trained and do not know how to handle working with young children, nor how to properly communicate with parents. They don't seem like proper people to be caring for children and teaching social skills when they don't even know how to communicate properly themselves. When you come to pick up, some parents are met with conversations and friendliness, while others barely even get looked at. It feels like you could take a child without them noticing if you come at the right time. Plus, they will judge you as a parent and make it known to you, and they take sides if parents are seperated. A lot of the employees are young and inexperienced and act as a friend to the children, rather than actual role models. I have come in multiple times to hear the teenage workers swearing and fooling around, setting terrible expectations for the kids. I have also seen cleaning supplies left down, eaisly within reach of the children, and the door to their laundry room left open, which is right next to the chidlren's bathrooms. The owner, Adair, is so unprofessional and rude. She thinks she is all of that and walks around with a big ego. In reality, she has no real education is running a business or dealing with children. Experience is helpful, but it doesn't account for the large lack of knowledge she has. Plus, she does not care if her employees are trained. She pushes new employees in without any introduction to the families so you will show up and see random new people with your children. On top of that, when employees leave, there is no notice to families and you're left with a sad and disregualted child because they don't know where their trusted adult went. The director, Chelsea, is weird and awakward and does not know how to handle conflict. She will deflect and leave you feeling unheard and unsupported. Plus, her children go to the center and run around like crazy animals. Shows a lack of understanding of how to raise children, let alone how to show a large group of children learn and grow properly. Overall, do not send your kids here. There are so many better places to send your chidl that have employees and systems better set up for you and your child.
Do not recommend this school. Building is so LOUD it echos and strong chemical smell through out. Playground is lacking compared to other schools. Staff and “leadership” operate off discriminatory practices and assumptions then end contracts before even questioning you for specifics. Behavior reports are ridiculous “your child was RUDE when didn’t eat sandwich when told to” instead he wanted other food from lunchbox “had a hard time napping” when 4-5 years old in transition period. If your child is a boy and has moderate energy, is phasing out of naps, or has a behavioral diagnosis FO NOT HO TO THIS SCHOOL. They do not have the proper resources, patience, care, or attitude to benefit your child’s life. Highly disappointed with your methods and lack of trying to accommodate or modify your approach. My advice to Adair Ms Sophia and Ms Melody is to take classes in empathy and communication because if you can’t communicated with a four year old and you dismiss them due to a parent challenging your labeling of the child as rude due to a miscommunication your staff had with a preschooler. That’s subpar to the standards of this community. Level up. Terrible school. Written with care and authenticity, LAURA
Im not quite what those negative reviews are about but just seems like someone just wanted something to complain about. First off you walk into a DAYCARE and its loud? Well, YEAH. You're walking into a building full of kids. Second, my son has been struggling with certain things and his teachers have been nothing but patient and kind with him. They have been willing to work with us to make sure he gets the help he needs time and time again. They give him structure and keep the consistency. They never gave up on him they never told me i had to pull him. They gave me many resources on how and what I can do to help my son. The communication doesn't lack either. Its always there. They are good people and kind souls.
I feel so lucky to have found The Learning Tree! After my first tour, I left with such peace of mind seeing the level of care my kids would be receiving. Their lives have been enriched since enrolling and they are safe, loved, and top priority when they are at The Learning Tree. The owner has created a wonderful community of families by planning events and special days for both children and families. I especially love seeing photos uploaded throughout the day through an app they use, as well as their immediate response rate to any questions or concerns about my kids. This is less like a daycare and more like a second home for my kids when they aren’t at home with me!
We are thrilled with the care and education our daughter is receiving at The Learning Tree! She is engaged daily in play-based activities that target her motor skills, speech and language development, social/emotional well-being, and so much more! The staff clearly cares deeply for our child and they openly communicate about her progress and her needs. The staff is extremely committed and make every effort to meet our daughter's developmental needs through age appropriate methods. We would highly recommend The Learning Tree to any parent seeking quality care for their children!
