We are so incredibly grateful for our experience at The Learning Experience. From day one, we have felt that our child is in a safe, nurturing, and loving environment. The teachers truly go above and beyond — they are patient, attentive, and genuinely care about each child’s growth and happiness. We especially appreciate how communicative and approachable the teachers and staff are. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing our child is surrounded by such dedicated professionals. We love hearing about what our child does throughout the day and would always welcome even more updates! Overall, we truly love The Learning Experience and highly recommend it to any family looking for a caring and enriching daycare.
My nieces attend The Learning Experience in Roseland and absolutely love it. They constantly talk about their teachers, their friends, and how much fun they have every day. My sister says this location stands out because of the leadership and how personable and caring the directors are, and it really shows. The environment feels warm, supportive, and well run. We couldn’t be happier with this center and I already know it’ll be my first choice someday for my own child
I am posting this review a few years after my son attended TLE because I wanted to share my experience in case this helps any other parents who are in a similar situation. This review is solely my experience and is not being posted to say negative things about this location, however, I do feel that my specific situation was not handled properly by TLE. Other than this situation, the preschool is very nice with a good curriculum and a nice environment. My son attended TLE Roseland when he was just turning 3 years old. It was his first time attending a daycare. The first couple of months were fine, and then all of the sudden, I started getting "incident reports" to sign at pick up...about 6-7 of them a day...stating that my son was yelling or pushed someone. It seemed strange and out of the blue. Soon after, I was called for a parent meeting and was told by the director that my son was exhibiting poor behaviors and that other parents are upset that he is acting out in class and that it is affecting everyone else. This was strange to me considering my son was not like this at home. I felt that TLE was blaming me for my son's behaviors. It was heartbreaking because I did not know why my son was acting out, and I definitely did not feel that the staff at TLE really understood what was happening or really trying to work with him. It felt like they were blaming my child. I got the sense that they were increasing incident reports for even normal child behavior in an effort to "document" what was happening in case they wanted to kick my child out. I ultimately pulled him out of TLE and transferred to another daycare because it did not seem like any interventions that we were trying with him were working. After I transferred my son, he was doing really well in the new daycare. Overtime, some of his previous behaviors came back. There were no "incident reports" but instead support and proper documentation of the behaviors for the purpose of coordination with myself and my son's pediatrician to get to the root cause of what was happening. Instead of blaming my son, they identified specific trends that led us to properly diagnose him with a sensory integration disorder. He was able to receive OT and other therapies, and he is now THRIVING in kindergarten. I thank his new daycare every day for having the expertise to understand child development and properly work with me and my husband to understand what was happening. We weren't seeing these behaviors at home because he wasn't overstimulated at home, which added to the confusion and overwhelm that I was feeling during this process. I did want to alert other parents of this because hindsight is 20/20 and I have been properly able to process everything that was happening overtime to my son now that I have answers. I do feel that TLE did not appropriately work with me or my child in the setting of a developmental issues that often times parents need help from schools to understand the behavior. I hope that TLE can have appropriate staff and directors on board in the future that work with families instead of using a punitive approach with our children. I feel I would have had more support earlier if I wasn't made to feel like my child was a problem.
I would highly recommend TLE Roseland. The teachers we have encountered truly show care, compassion and kindness to my children that I am so thankful for! I feel my kids are constantly learning new things starting from the infant class and up through preschool. Most importantly they are safe and well cared for each day while also having fun!
The BEST! My son has been at the center for only a few weeks, and I am overly happy and amazed with the care and his growth ! Ms. V & Ms Giselle show me how much they care for my son, and keep me updated on his daily activities through their app. It makes me feel like I am right there with him; growing, developing and learning. As a first time parent it is truly amazing to see how much joy they both have in their job, a true passion for these babies. (let’s face it, we all know it’s got to be exhausting !) My child was very nervous at first, and now he jumps out of my arms to go to them. At pick up, I always have a smiling baby, clean, and a FULL REPORT on his day from them. I am so thankful we found TLE Roseland, and I am overjoyed to see how my son progresses through their curriculum and classes.
