The Learning Experience At Avondale

We love TLE! They were able to get us in quickly and have made our kids feel so welcome. It is super, super clean and very organized. The curriculum is educational and it's fun to hear our 3 YO daughter come home with new words (and talk about friends) and our 6 MO son is loving it too. Easy parking, convenient location and seriously AMAZING staff. We have tried one other daycare and a nanny and this is the happiest our toddler has been when away from us. She is excited to go in the mornings! Very fun to see.

Cannot say enough good things about TLE! My husband and I were looking for a daycare for our 6 month old (at the time) after my mom could no longer watch her while we were at work. We initially went in for a tour and luckily they had an immediate spot available, so we enrolled our daughter to start as soon as we could. As first time parents and first daycare experience, we were nervous and unsure of what to expect but TLE eased all of our concerns. First, the facility is clean, bright, and very secured since you need a fob to enter. Secondly, the staff there is incredible and super warm and welcoming - we looked forward to being greeted by Rebecca (previous Director) and Sterling, or other members of their team, during drop off and pick up. Our daughter also took to her teachers Miss Sarah and Miss Makaya immediately, and receiving pictures of our daughter smiling every time was the highlight of our day. You know your child loves their teachers when they are equally as excited to see them as they are to see you. In the couple of months our daughter attended TLE, she learned and developed so much thanks to Miss Sarah and Miss Makaya. If it weren't for getting off the waitlist at a daycare closer to home, our daughter would still be attending TLE. We would definitely recommend it to other families looking for a daycare for their child.

We love this center and the staff especially! It was evident early on how friendly and attentive everyone was! My daughter has developed connections with both her classmates and the staff, but that’s just #1 on my list of the things that I love about this place! It stood out to me how the center has regular extracurricular activities for the kiddos. Since attending in June my daughter has experienced the petting farm, bubbles company, music company, snow cone truck multiple times (haha) and a picture day. Another favorite has been the water play days (every T&TR over the summer) This was amazing because she looovvesss water play. This place has taught my kiddo how to adapt to routines very well, her numbers, and introduced her to ASL. There is so much more to say but all in all, I am happy I chose to enroll my daughter here. Enrolling my baby at TLE has been the best decision we’ve ever made! My son has gained so much independence! We’ve enjoyed each milestone he’s accomplished and it is all thanks to his caring teachers. They worked with him in a scheduled nap routine, holding his own bottle, and working on his motor skills! He rolls and is almost crawling! My favorite part of TLE is our live notifications through the app. I can tell baby is having fun because I can see it on his face on all those amazing pictures sent throughout the day.

TLE Bucktown was the absolute best initial daycare experience for our daughter, who was our first child. We started her there at 11.5 weeks old, and since day one, the staff was exceptional (excellent communication, organized, warm and welcoming to our daughter as well as us as parents). We are still in contact with some of her older teachers, which means a tremendous amount to us as new parents. We firmly believe our daughter’s skills, communication and vibrant personality are directly due to her time at TLE. Their West Loop location is now the primary location near Logan square/Palmer Square residents. If you are on the fence as new parents about whether to choose TLE as your little one’s daycare, trust your gut and choose TLE :)
