I took months to decide what daycare to enroll my son in. I called Jennifer several times when considering my options and every time we spoke she was patient and understanding. The teachers all really care about the children and their development. I have gone to drop off or pick up my son at different times and there has yet to be a time I walk in and the kids are not doing something educational. The environment is welcoming and obviously loving. My son stopped crying at drop off within a few days. As for the comments below that the floor smells humid. I have not had that experience. Yes the building is old but the actual daycare is clean I have personally seen the ladies deep cleaning in the evenings. I am extremely happy with The Learning Center! My son is always clean and happy when I pick him up.
My baby loves her time at Downtown Learning Center. Sometimes she'd rather stay with her teachers Judi and Yanet than come with me! The facility is always clean and they are always doing creative and hands on activities with the children. I drop her off and I feel at ease that she's in a safe, educational environment.
Pros: My son's teacher, Ms. Marlene is a god send. She is a wonderful and caring teacher. She always looks after every student with a careful eye and maintains records of their progress. What a delight. The staff works with you to make payments. Cons: The floor smells humid and musty but that's because the building is old. Some of the teachers are really passionate and caring while others don't seem to be very friendly.
TLC is the best thing I could have done for my son. They care for the kids like if they were theirs. My son was there since he was 12 weeks old until he was 6 years old, VPK, ready to start Kindergarten. All the teachers and staff care a lot for the kids and help us parents learn how to deal with our growing child(s). If I had to do it all over again, I would not hesitate to have my child in TLC as my choice for daycare.
They don't care about your child. Mi son got hurt in her face and nobody told me what happened. If you care about your son or daughter don't put them in here.
