The Kids' Place

I am giving one star because you have to in order to write the review. I am extremely disappointed in the treatment of my grandson in the infant room as well as the staff and site director. Over the course of the past month with my grandson teething, and having the usual slight fever or diarrhea the school refused to let him attend, called to have him removed on several occasions and even after providing TWO doctor's notes they still were rude about him being in attendance. The infant room staff is unwelcoming. I spoke with Jillian the regional director just last week Friday and she was apologetic that my grandson had been sent home and that he should not have been and we agreed to start with a clean slate on Monday. On Monday afternoon according to staff my grandson had an occurrence of projectile vomit (which he has never had) and could not return on Tuesday without a doctors note. I took him to his pediatrician who was concerned that we have returned with him twice in 2 weeks with no symptoms and nothing has changed. Doctor provided the note and I returned with him to daycare. Lori, center director was clearly annoyed and the staff at no time welcomed my grandson. That night when he was picked up, there was a large red bruise on his face, maybe it was from a change in his diet?? When questioned, staff said they did not know how that happened. Two weeks notice was given today. Phone call to Director Ruth Guzman and Regional Director Jillian (last name unknown) resulted in voicemail messages and complaint will be filed with the Department of Social Services.

I give it a star cause theres no option for none. This daycare is so in responsible, always losing things, in winter the gloves, hats and coats lost. Then this so called Lori the worst director ever, never has a welcoming face, doesn’t know how to call when insidents happen but she for sure knows when it’s Tuesday payment day, leaves voicemails and everything. My kid never has potty incidents during the day but in this day care they send him with wet Clothes everyday... There was only one good teacher Miss Jailene and sadly she left, the only reason why I kept my kids in this place. There’s 1000 things more that I can say... but the most important, I do not recommended this place, my neighbors kids was going there and they took her nena out for discrimination. They said they can’t deal with kids like her...
