The Kids Institute

There was NOT one day I could go to work without worrying about my kids with this center. THEY HAVE 1 teacher in the center ,Mrs Ivory which is the owner of the daycare is very rude she has spoken with me on numerous occasions about my son being bullied she called me pretty much told me to shut up and listen on the phone I find IT very disrespectful my son has been pushed into tables my son has been pushed onto the cement there has been no reports written about the situation they have not handled the situation with the other parent there was nothing done about it the owner is very disrespectful very unprofessional, And because I called state she decided to call my kids father an threaten that she would call children services on me because I was upset when I came to the center It was at least 5 to 6 instances that happened with my son I handled it very professionally , the last time they called my phone she told me that she sat and spoke with my son without a parent present about the situation after I asked her to have all of us sit together they are very unprofessional there they have all kids all age ranges piled inside of one classroom which leave’s an open door for bullying and when you try to get help with the situation they pretty much blame you or blame your child for the situation the owner actually told me to tell my son to punch a little girl. I’ve dealt with a lot of centers but I’ve never had a center threaten the well-being of my children with children services out of retaliation because I called state. They began to call my emergency contacts claiming false allegations against me and just all-around being spiteful do not send your kids to the center if you love them. Instead of taking responsibility for the other child that has hit and punched multiple kids in the center they decide to blame my kids and my kids have never been a problem at the center. I’ve tolerated it for too long All because I haven’t had time to find another center but now that I have I would like to tell the world to not send your children KIDS institute i’m very surprised but now that I’ve read these reviews it all makes sense. I walked in the center gave them my transfer papers to remove my kids after they begged me to leave my kids there I removed them anyway because I can’t deal with the unprofessionalism and the flat out ghetto behavior that goes on at that center. They treat every parent the same as if we all raise out kids to be Hoodlums. My kids are well behaved an is being raised right. An I refuse to let them be changed simply because a daycare failed to protect my child. They all have attitude problems. Mrs hatch is the only good soul in that building. They need shut down I HAD TO SEND A DAYTON POLICE OFFICER TO TGE CENTER FOR THEM TO STOP THREATENING MY CHILDREN

My kids have been going here for couple of years now. I have dealt with a lot of issues with this daycare. I still stick and work through. The problem that I have is how they close on short notice. Normally I would just work things out but today drew the line. I didn't receive a phone call nor did the notice that they were closing aired until 7am. I wake up every morning at 5 am if the center was going to be closed I would have noticed prior. My phone did not ring and if they would have called why didn't I receive a VM. Instead someone was standing outside to let parents know at 630am they were closed. Very unprofessional. This is not the first time this has happen and still I try and work with the center. All schools are closed so for those parents that had to find short notice care for there child is wrong and I'm very disappointed. There needs to be a better way of communicating with parents to let them know. Not only that if you know the day before that we will have bad weather then give parents notice then. I give the center a 2 rating only because the poor communication, payment system they have, and transportation problems. I understand you have a business, but as a parent that still has to pay for a full week of care and not get notification in a reasonable time is unfair to me and any other parent that has to experience this type of service.

If your are loving parents you WOULD NOT send your child here. The head of the daycare (T.Ivory) is so rude and disrespectful. I tried to have a decent word with her and she just plains ignore me. And she is money hungry

I can't believe how awfully RUDE this lady is I was so polite to her and she was so mean and nasty she is ..... I was talking to her and she said she was doing this childcare job for "twenty five years." Then I tried to respond to some of the things she was saying and she gave me no chance to reply or respond back she simply hung up the phone..... This person who I've never met because my boys have never attended this daycare... I am still on my search for a good daycare.... I thought this was a nice daycare center.... But it seems that it's not..... I do need help with my childcare as I am on low income and doing my best to raise four children on hardly any money.....But I thought that I would try this daycare and just as I had changed the bus information she refuses to take my children. I continue to say it is hard to find daycare in Dayton im frustrated angry and hurt that I can't find a good daycare in Dayton...It is upsetting and Even though all of us parents who are looked down upon for making hardly any money to pay out for daycare..... and people treat you like you are beneath them because of it like this lady did me and hung up on me like I was a nobody it just makes me mad and to tell you the truth it scares me as a parent wondering how she would treat my children probably being mean to them the whole time.. As we are a mixed family that lives on the West Side of Dayton and we aren't accepted anyway...

This is thee worst daycare ever I will tell people everyday DO NOT send your kids here. They call and text you all day long everything is negative you never here positive things they don’t even have a playground for the daycare. They talked about my kids private school they are very nasty people at this facility I wouldn’t recommend them at all and my kids was only there for two weeks what a waste of time I wouldn’t trust them with my kids at all.
