We’ve had such a wonderful experience at The Kendall School. Both of our kids have absolutely thrived — one is now a proud alum, and the other is still there. Each day is filled with joy, creativity, and learning through outdoor play, art, music, yoga, and much more! The teachers are caring and dedicated, the director is fantastic, and the community is warm and welcoming. We’ve made great friends and lasting memories. We’ll miss it so much next year. Highly recommend!
We have sent two of our children to Kendall School and are so happy with our experience. The quality of educators and programming is unmatched in this area. Our son attended the transitional Kindergarten program and it paid dividends when it came to his move to elementary school. He was confident, excited and ready. Our younger daughter is thriving with the mix of play and academics and we love how the teachers see, and tailor their approaches to, our kids’ unique styles. The building itself is beautiful and inviting, and so beautifully maintained! We are excited to send our younger kids to Kendall when they’re ready, too!
The Kendall School is a very special community centered preschool in Belmont, MA. Our daughter attended their preschool and Transitional Kindergarten program, led by the incredibly knowledgable and experienced Ms. Johnson. The environment at Kendall offers a blend of the arts, physical movement and curriculum that appropriately prepared our daughter for Kindergarten. I would highly recommend The Kendall School to anyone looking for a warm, friendly and well-structured preschool experience!
The Kendall School is hands down the best preschool ever! We’ve sent all three of our children here and have had such a wonderful experience. The Kendall School is actually one of the reasons we decided to stay in the area instead of moving farther out to the suburbs. The quality of the teachers, staff, curriculum, activities, and facilities is amazing. Many of the teachers have been there for over 15 years, which says a lot. Some of our favorite things about the school include daily music with Ms. Marina, who plays the piano while all the kids sing along; fun activities centered around the seasons and holidays; the beautiful enclosed outdoor space and playground in the back; exposure to different languages such as Spanish and French; and, most importantly, the caring and dedicated teachers and staff. We also appreciate the fact that there is a weekly camp in the summer. The Director, Mrs. Colbert, runs the school in such an organized and responsible way—we’ve always felt completely comfortable and confident leaving our children in the school’s care. Overall, we highly recommend The Kendall School!
