I absolutely love this center. As a FTM it was extremely difficult to leave my 3 month old baby, but they comforted me from the very first day. She is now one and a half and greets the staff with a hug every morning. I love how they are constantly improving the center and keep everything clean. Every staff member has a great attitude and treat the kiddos like their own. ❤️
Love the director Mrs Arkia. She treats my child as if she was her own. Great curriculum but the placement of teachers and accountability could be better. No room for kids that are beyond their age to progress. My 3yr old is there for daycare.
My son has been here for 2 years now and I have nothing but Great experience here for him.I love the fact that every staff member is actively involve with the all children including mine.
On 01/14/25 at 4:30pm I was picking my child up from the joy of learning center. I witnessed a child putting plastic in his mouth from a juice box I notifie the teacher. She took the juice away I told her he still has the plastic in his mouth the teacher just walked away. I want and notified the Director of the building Arkia where she came in and told the teacher several times to check the child’s mouth. The teacher then pulled the plastic out his mouth. The child could have been seriously, hurt. I told Arkia the children are not being treated nor watched properly. Just a couple weeks ago 12/18/24 I notified Arkia that one of the teachers were hitting one of the 15 month old. There’s a 12 year old boy there every day at 4pm when I come to pick my child up his in the kids room watching porn on the tablet every day. Today 01/15/25 at 2:40pm I went to pick my child up the teachers are in the classroom screaming and cussing in front of the kids getting ready to fight. Not only was this happening in front of the kids it happened in front of a parent. Arkia told me if I don’t like the way the center is run then my son can leave. Every unprofessional. My 15month old son was hurt at the daycare and Arkia refused to check the cameras to see what happened the teacher said they don’t know so who watching the kids. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.
The JOLC is awesome! My daughter started last Spring in the 3s room and is now in pre-K I class. Their curriculum is great and the kids are given a learning assessment on a regular basis. My daughter has learned so much! All of her teachers have been super nice and attentive. The director Mrs Abro is very knowledgeable and I can feel confident in that any concern/need I have is always addressed and made a priority. Very clean, professional,structured environment!
