If I could give 10 stars I would!! Best daycare!! The people here are amazing!! My son is 13 years old and He went to this daycare since He was 1 year old. My second child also went to this daycare she is 7 now and now my 3 months old is also going to this daycare. We became family at this point! I Dont trust anyone else with my kids but them! Always doing activities with the babies and toddlers that help them develop their little imagination! I always recommend them to anyone in the DC area. Very trustworthy and caring family 🥰 my kids love all the teachers
Our daughter has attended Ideal for the last 2.5 years from 18 months old through 4 years old. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this very special place. The teachers are all very loving, kind, and work so hard to make learning fun (shout out especially to Ms. O, Ms. Shields, and Ms. B who are just the best.) It is cliche to say it feels like they treat the children “like their own “ but they really do. So attentive and knowledgeable about child development, the teachers communicate regularly about your child’s progress and development. Parents and teachers complete the Ages and Stages questionnaire (ASQ) ant regular intervals, and if needed can coordinate with Early Intervention to address any delays. I will especially miss seeing the photos from their day posted throughout the day on the Brightwheel app. Another plus is the great parent community at Ideal. Families communicate on WhatsApp and get together regularly outside of school hours. For any parents looking for a daycare/preschool where your child will thrive and your family can build community connection, Ideal is it. We will miss it so much!
Our kids had an incredible 2.5 years at Ideal. We recently moved, and leaving Ideal was without question the hardest part. Our kids started at Ideal at 6 months and 1.5 years old, and it was remarkable to see their happiness and development during their time at Ideal. We appreciated all the pictures and videos shared through the app and the nutritious meals they provided :) Our kids moved up classrooms every 6-12 months, and all the teachers were phenomenal. Special shout outs to Ms. Shields, Jamie, Solita, Shishai, Leane, and Margarette. We're so grateful for the care and warmth you provided. We'll miss you!
Our daughter attended Ideal CDC from the time she was an infant all the way through the preschool class, and we are beyond grateful for the amazing foundation they provided her. From the very beginning, we felt at ease because Ideal truly felt like our daughter's second home. The teachers and staff are incredibly dedicated, patient, and passionate about early childhood development.They create an environment where learning is fun. A huge plus was the meals they provided daily, ensuring that our daughter was always well-fed with balanced and nutritious meals. What really solidified our appreciation for Ideal CDC was when she started at her new school. Her teachers were so impressed with how advanced she was that they asked us where she had attended prior! It was a proud moment to share that she was an official Ideal CDC Alum, lol! The foundation she received there has set her up for success. My family and I highly recommend Ideal to any family looking for a loving childcare center.
We sent our son here from age 5 months to 15 months until we moved out of the area, and it was the absolute best!! One of our saddest points about leaving DC was having our son leave Ideal. He absolutely thrived under their care. It is a phenomenal space, extremely neat and tidy, and the teachers are absolutely wonderful. Ms. Cadet runs the place super well and always makes herself available to answer any questions. They have a great and fun curriculum even for the littlest kids and really take pride in helping them grow and learn. This is more than just a daycare, it's truly an educational and enriching environment and the teacher's treat your kids like family. They also offer a healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks, which was a huge plus AND they provide diapers! Don't hesitate to send your kids here!!
