We joined HCA shortly after moving to Hoboken, and it was far and away the best choice for our son! We felt like everyone at HCA got to know our family immediately, kept us consistently updated on how our son was doing, was responsive to any questions or updates we had, and made us feel like part of a community. Marisa and Marissa at the front desk could not be more welcoming and inclusive, and the more intimate size and setting of HCA gave us huge comfort that our son was taken care of and that his individual needs were being met. All of the teachers at HCA knew our little guy by name (even teachers who weren't in his class) and he lit up and lunged for his classroom every day. Being able to check in on him throughout the day gave huge peace of mind as new parents sending our first little guy to daycare, and their attention to cleanliness and security were incredible. We looked at other options when moving, but HCA was worth all of the peace of mind and we are so grateful for the wonderful experience we had with them. We recently moved away for work and leaving HCA was one of the hardest parts of leaving!

I sent both of my daughters to Hoboken Children's Academy Uptown and couldn't have asked for a better first schooling experience for my girls. HCA is the perfect combination of a professional daycare (with all the processes/policies and rules you want) but with the vibe of a home setting. It's very small - there's only 3 classes of ~10 kids, but as a result EVERYONE knew and loved my kids (they still do when we drop in to say hello!) The teachers are warm and lovely, and turnover is impressively low, the directors have both been there for 10 years plus. They also make life really easy for parents, being open 7am-7pm and providing ALL THE FOOD (!!!) HCA was definitely one of the better parenting decisions we've made to date!

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Hoboken Children's Academy uptown location! From the moment we enrolled our son at nine months, we were continually impressed by the warm and nurturing environment that the staff created. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, deeply passionate about early childhood education, and go above and beyond to ensure each child feels valued and supported. Our son has blossomed in this enriching setting, gaining confidence and developing a love for learning that we are thrilled to see. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, incorporating a perfect balance of academics, creative play, and social development. The facilities are top-notch--always clean, safe, and filled with a variety of engaging and educational activities. We were particularly impressed by how easily our son was able to grasp basic Spanish concepts introduced by the school. Communication with the staff was excellent--they kept us well-informed about our son's progress, sickness, and any upcoming events. We particularly appreciate the special programs and events that involve families, fostering a strong sense of community. The organic hot meals made on-site, which our son loved, was a wonderful bonus. HCA also offers eight types of assessments to track progression in physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development: Bi-Annual Assessment, 4-month, 8-month, 12-month, 18-month, 24-month, and 3-year checklists. These assessments have been invaluable in understanding our son's development. Hoboken Children's Academy is truly a gem in uptown Hoboken. We highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing, stimulating, and supportive environment for their child's early education. HCA uptown was absolutely amazing for my 2 kids. The staff is incredible - high energy, caring, loving and considerate. Both kids were so happy there and as a parents my wife and I felt completely comfortable dropping them off everyday knowing they were in such good hands. Our kids rapid development at young ages was outstanding thanks to HCA. I would highly recommend HCA, it’s the best !!

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about HCA! When we moved from Hoboken HCA was the hardest place to leave. Both of our children were so loved by all the teachers as if they were their own children and they truly learned so much during their time there. The facility is incredibly clean and management /staff truly care about every child there. Our children could not wait to go to school every morning, and the hours are also amazing for working parents. We are so grateful for the 3 years we had at HCA!
