The Goddard School

We love The Goddard School! I can’t say enough good things. The teachers are incredibly caring—patient, warm, and truly invested in my son’s growth. They are tuned into my son as individual and connect and communicate extremely well with the parents (and grandparents!). It feels like a real community here, with welcoming staff and families. The curriculum strikes a perfect balance: structured STEAM-based learning with lots of fun, hands-on activities that spark curiosity and joy. My son is thriving—he’s more confident, social and excited about learning every day. He is learning age appropriate lessons in how to share, be kind and connect with adults and other children. He comes home singing the names of his teachers most days and I know he is in the best hands. It takes a village and this one is the best! Highly recommend this nurturing, high-quality school for early education! We’re so thrilled to be part of the Goddard family! Thank you to the amazing team! ❤️

We never had our older child in any type of childcare before they entered into preschool/ kindergarten, so when our life situation needed some extra care for our toddler, I was terrified to even start the search. I had researched a few childcare opportunities and Goddard was by far the best for so many reasons. From the moment you contact them, to the time you leave, safety and comfort for your child is the leading concern. You get daily updates with pictures, if there are issues that need to be communicated- they are prompt, and the educational aspect surpasses so many other locations we toured. Our toddler has eaten foods she won’t even eat at home, and she is always excited to go to school. There are healthy meals, family activities and there are so many safety precautions in place just to enter the building. Both of our sons attended The Goddard School in St. Charles — starting as infants (just 3 months old) and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The teachers and staff were amazing, caring, and truly helped our boys grow and learn in a fun, nurturing environment. We always felt confident they were in great hands, and when the time came, they were more than ready for school. Communication was always clear and timely, and we felt like true partners in my son's early learning journey. The curriculum is thoroughly designed, and the classrooms are always clean, safe, and welcoming. It gave us great peace of mind knowing our son was in such capable hands everyday. My little one has been making strides since entering the Goddard School. Previously went to an at home daycare provider for 3 years and LOVED them…so I was very nervous to put him into a preschool but knew it was time to expose to a more social and structured environment. So far (about 3 months) everyone has been kind and supportive - the teachers in the Apple Cottage room are SO SWEET! You can really tell they care about the children in the room. They post a few pictures daily in the portal and provide a summary sheet at the end of every day - which helps keep me informed, gives a glimpse into how the day is going, and some topics to talk about at home to reinforce the learnings. Very happy and highly recommend.
