The team at Goddard has been an incredible partner in our child’s development and education, and we are so grateful to be a part of this community. From the start, Ms. Amanda and Ms. Samaiya worked diligently to help our son transition into full-time care outside of our home. They ensured he was comfortable, welcome, and had everything he needed to thrive. Now, Ms. Amanda, Ms. Tya, and Ms. MaKayla continue these efforts as they go above and beyond to support our son’s continued learning and development, particularly around emotional regulation and sensory activities. We appreciate how the teachers are always looking for new, innovative resources and techniques to fit the children’s needs in the classroom. Our son’s communication skills, gross and fine motor skills, and more have truly blossomed since starting at Goddard. We can’t imagine our life without the incredible team here – which extends beyond his core teachers to the incredible resource teachers (shoutout to Ms. Kaya, Ms. Mae, Ms. Trin, Ms. Trinity, Ms. Maram, and Ms. Kenya to name a few!) and the team who helps the office run smoothly, providing a friendly welcome at the front office (you already know how much our kiddo loves you Ms. Kristen! as well as Ms. Alicia and Ms. Rachelle). Our oldest has been at Goddard since he was 2, ever since we moved to Raleigh. We've enjoyed the experience so much that our daughter started there last year as an infant. The teachers and aides really put their hearts into teaching and supporting our kids. Even with some turnover in our eldest’s Pre-K class—not due to Goddard, and they managed it very well—Ms. Dee was a constant, providing stability, which was wonderful for our child’s sense of consistency. He really will miss Goddard but lucky he can visit when he has the chance to pick up/drop off his little sister!
This is one of the few places to have your child school without worrying if he/she is safe. They don’t overlook small things especially any change in your child; be it feeding, behavior , health and even how they get along with others. Every member of the staff is friendly and they really make you feel at home. I can’t wait for my sone to join his sister. They teaching and activities are great and they always have someone fun for the children to look forward to.
