We loved this school! Our daughter attended from age 3 months through pre-K. I love how there's an education focus from the earliest years and also that it's all play based. They send a report and pictures every day so you can see what your child is up to and learning. The teachers and directors are all very dedicated, passionate, and supportive. They will set up a call with you every few months to update you on how things are going, but you can also request a call at any time about issues or questions that come up, and their expertise is invaluable. There are also fun special events like an Art Show where the classes focus on a different famous artist and their style and the kids display art in that style. Practically speaking, for working parents, they are open for 7-6 every day and only close for major holidays and a week at Christmas. So they have you covered if you are working a full day. Highly recommended in every way!
Our son has been going there for about 2 months now and he LOVES his new school, every teacher says hi to him in the morning and bye when he leaves. Ms Bella is always keeping us updated with his growth and developments. The pictures they said us at the end of the day, he always has a big smile and having so much fun. The curriculum they are teaching is full of fun and challenges. We are so happy with this choice and couldn’t thank the teachers and staff there at the Derry location enough!
We chose The Goddard School after extensively researching all nearby learning centers. We were impressed with their curriculum and kind staff. Our daughter is leaping out of our arms each morning to see her teachers. She’s learned more than I ever imagined. They have taught her American Sign Language signs, how to take naps without a binky, to sing songs, share toys, and to play nice with her friends. Her personality has exploded since attending TGS and we couldn’t be more grateful. They send us photo updates throughout the day and a personalized report each night via a special app. We love seeing what she does each day, which usually includes sensory arts and crafts, playing with open ended toys, and reading books or singing songs with the class.
We had a great experience at Goddard. All the teachers truly enjoy working with children. Both of our kids loved attending and we never questioned the care they were receiving while we were at work which as working parents is the best thing you can ask for!
I can’t recommend the Goddard school Derry enough. The teachers and staff are amazing and so welcoming. The facility is clean and well taken care of. My child comes home everyday happy and worn out from playing and learning. His teachers have been so warm and nurturing. Honestly any fear I had about putting my child in daycare the Goddard school has erased. Worth every penny
