We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Goddard School Decatur! The teachers are so warm, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth. One of the teachers in our child’s classroom, Ms. C, has been phenomenal—so patient and nurturing, and really helped with the transition into daycare. Our little one has flourished here and even hit some major milestones thanks to the supportive environment. The leadership team, including the director and front office staff, are equally amazing. They’re organized, communicative, and always greet us with a smile. You can tell they genuinely care about the kids and create a loving, safe, and fun atmosphere. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this school!
We have been extremely pleased with our decision to send our son to The Goddard School. I get multiple emails throughout each day, with pictures, to show what activities he's doing... art, Chess, Spanish, singing, show and tell, counting, letters, patterns, play, etc! And when I pick him up, his teachers are very excited to debrief me on his day. My son loves all his teachers and friends. Personally, I love the flexible school hours, the diligent attention to COVID protocols, the cleanliness of the school, and the fact that they serve lunch (for a very small extra fee).
Choosing Goddard of Decatur was the best decision we made for our child. The staff is warm, attentive, and truly cares about each child’s growth and happiness. The facility is clean, safe, and filled with engaging activities that keep the kids excited to learn and plan. Highly recommend!
Starting the process of finding out daughter’s first school wasn’t easy, it took us a while and we were definitely not in a hurry but when we visited Goddard things started to be more clear to us. We liked the building, the staff, the children and we started to feel like that could be the best place for our little one. I called them a couple of weeks later after the tour and asked lots of questions that as a first time mom seem extremely necessary and they answered all of them making me feel safe to take my daughter there. Sure enough, from the first day our daughter loved the school and we realized that we did the right thing. Our daughter loves the school, we love the school and we feel like we made the right decision.
We have been at Goddard Decatur for 2.5 years. My boys love it here! The staff knows them well and I feel confident that they are well taken care of. The facilities are clean. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. By preK the students are learning how to read and addition/subtraction, which I think is impressive. I highly recommend this daycare!
