The Goddard School-Chicago

My child has been at Goddard since the summer and we are getting ready to leave to go to a new school that is closer to our new house, and we are heartbroken. The staff and teachers at Goddard so deeply care for her, and I have seen her grow both socially and intellectually in really incredible ways. The teachers have been curious about her and her needs, and I feel like she wakes up looking forward to attending. Everyone there knows her, and admin has been really accommodating and helpful when they didn’t need to be. I was very picky and did a lot of visiting and research before I chose Goddard—I chose them because I love the private playground and community activities. But the school itself has been a really big blessing to my kiddo, and I have seen her explode in confidence, language, and social skills. I am very sad to be leaving.

We had a wonderful experience at the Goddard school. When our previous daycare closed and left us scrambling to find a new place, Jason made time on a Saturday to give us a tour. That was indicative of the school as a whole – everyone is kind, attentive, and caring. Our son learned so much while he was there it was sometimes hard to keep up! Most importantly, our minds were completely at ease knowing he had such a safe, nurturing place to go to every day. He loved all of his teachers and made great friends. We just moved to the suburbs, and of all the city things we’re sad to leave behind, Goddard is at the top of the list. We will miss it, but we’re so grateful we were part of the Goddard family while we were here!

Fantastic experience at Goddard! Goddard’s focus on education first helped my daughter grow and advance. Our daughter started at 6 months and the whole team helped support her through the various transitions i.e. learning to walk, eating solids, transition to one nap. The team always made recommendations for her development and worked with us when we had a special request like focusing on sharing. The staff is really dedicated to each kid and makes a personal investment in each student. Love the entire team!

Love Goddard—Jason and the team are fantastic. Our son has been here since 15 months old, and the switch from our previous daycare (great teachers, poor management) was the best decision. Jason is an outstanding manager who hires great staff and quickly addresses any concerns. I also love how Goddard helps build their community - they host regular events like school dances, anniversary parties, and classroom parties for every holiday. We're big fans and so happy our kid is thriving here!

We’ve been very lucky to send both our daughters to Goddard School and have loved the experience. The teachers and kind, thoughtful and engaged. I’m always impressed with the creative curriculum in the classroom. Our kids have always felt safe and well cared for, and love their teachers and friends. The directors are present and active and greet us every morning and evening. I know they will answer any question I have. This is a fantastic school that I would 100% recommend.
