The Goddard School- Brookfield

Both of our boys attend The Goddard School, and we could not be more grateful for the care our family has received. My first son had a traumatic birth, and I was terrified to send him to daycare. From the very beginning, the staff at Goddard were incredibly supportive and sensitive to our situation. They worked closely with outside providers to ensure my son received the help and support he needed, and each teacher has shown him so much love. He has developed a special bond with all of them, which means the world to us. While pregnant with our second child, I was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer. During that incredibly difficult time, the Goddard staff went above and beyond to support both me and my family. They even washed my older son and brought him out to us at pickup so I wouldn’t have to be exposed to germs—an act of kindness I will never forget. Now both of our children attend Goddard, and I couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. Whenever we have a concern, the office staff listens, puts our needs first, and never makes us feel insignificant. Alison, Mary, Lindsay, and all of the teachers are truly amazing, compassionate, and exceptional people. We are so thankful for everything they’ve done for our family.

Putting both of my children at Goddard is a decision I continue to be happy about, even years later. Strong sense of community. We've met many kind people. I trust my kids are taken care of, which is a relief for working parents.

My daughter has attended Goddard for years. 1st as her preschool then transitioning to after-school care. This is the safest and cleanest childcare center hands down. You never have to worry about your child when attending Goddard. The staff and teachers are highly trained and provide an amazing learning experience for your child. If only public schools would follow I'm Goddard's quality.

I booked my daughter a spot here and due to several unforseen circumstances needed to find other arrangements. I called two weeks prior to her intended start date to cancel and they reviewed the policy that they couldn't refund without filling the spot. They said they have turned away a lot of people for the spot she had, and if they could fill it they would refund ($1500). I've called several times since and they've been miraculously unable to fill the spot. Apparently no new applicants have tried to enroll their kid since. I called again to explain the situation and was met again with no empathy and no understanding in her voice, just the policy. I've reached out to corporate and received no response. I followed up and am now awaiting that. In the meantime .. Please be sure your kid WILL start school here or you'd be cutting your salary in half that month.

I was so nervous to place my son in a daycare facility and after touring many schools in Brookfield after we moved from Stamford, we landed on the Goddard School— and it was the best decision we could have made for our son and family. From day 1, the teachers and owner/director and associate director have been welcoming, supportive and our son is consistently engaged and cared for. We’ve noticed since his attendance that his level of confidence has soared, and the faculty are always keeping us posted on relevant updates that help us to ensure we are aligned on his development. Their facility is clean, organized, and FUN. Leaving a child at a daycare facility is always difficult, but at Goddard, we know our son is in great hands and we will always be made aware if he’s in need of something that we can offer to further his growth.
