The Goddard School

We have been attending Goddard Austell for over 4 years now. Our first daughter started at the age of 1 and is now attending kindergarten in the public school system. Her teachers have commented on how prepared she was for kindergarten. She has excelled in her new classroom with reading, math, and writing. I know this has a lot to do with all of the support she received at Goddard Austell. We can't extend enough gratitude to Ms. Shawn and Ms. Vanessa for preparing her for the next step in her education journey. We now have our toddler enrolled and she is following in her big sisters footsteps. We drive over 20 minutes each way, passing multiple daycares, just to reach Goddard. The clean environment, security, and communication attracted me to Goddard but the focus on Spanish and STEM has kept us around. Thank you all for what you do and the peace of mind you provide our family.

Best in class, from leadership to classroom staff, this school is focused on educating the whole child and supporting the families along the way. It’s like leaving your child with family, while the focus is developing academic and social skills that help them thrive.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment and concern regarding my son's recent experience at this school. He contracted hand, foot, and mouth disease while attending your school. This was a completely new and distressing illness for him, causing significant discomfort and suffering for a full week. What is particularly concerning is the school's response to this situation. Despite the clear evidence that my son contracted the illness at your facility, I encountered resistance and attempts to downplay the school's role in the transmission. This lack of transparency and forthrightness is deeply troubling. A school should prioritize the health and well-being of its students, and actively cooperate with parents in addressing such situations. Instead, we experienced a dismissal of our concerns, which I find completely unacceptable. Beyond this specific incident, I have consistently observed a lack of courtesy and professionalism from some staff members. This behavior is not conducive to a positive learning environment and undermines the trust parents should have in your school. The behavior of the owner has mirrored this concerning pattern. Given the combination of my son's illness, the inadequate response from the school administration, and the ongoing issues with staff conduct, I have made the difficult decision to withdraw my son from [School Name]. His safety and well-being are my paramount concerns, and I cannot in good conscience allow him to continue attending an institution where such conditions prevail. I expect a formal response outlining the steps you will take to prevent similar incidents in the future, and to improve the overall conduct and professionalism of your staff.

I absolutely love the Goddard School! I highly recommend this school for parents who are looking for teachers who really care about the growth and well-being of each child! My son started here in October after I pulled him out of his previous daycare and I must say I’ve seen an improvement in his behavior, communication, writing, and reading (he’s 3). His teachers always communicate with me which has allowed us to work together to ensure we are getting the best out of him! I highly recommend this school!

My son has been going to The Goddard School, Austell location, for about a year now. I can tell a complete difference in my child from when he first started to now. He is 2 years old and he is so smart and so vocal. All the staff has always been very considerate to my wishes and my child’s. My son loves going to school everyday. I would recommend to anyone with a child.
