We suddenly found ourselves living in the United States, and during such a big transition, Goddard Windward became one of the biggest sources of comfort for our family. We truly believe that our son has been able to adjust and grow so well because of this school. He has been attending since the preschool class, and from preschool to now in pre-K, every teacher he has had has been warm, caring, and truly dedicated. Our son comes home every day excited to share everything that happened at school, which shows how much he loves his teachers and his class. We also appreciate that the teachers have been with the school for a long time — it gives us a strong sense of trust and stability as parents. All of the teachers always have bright, positive expressions, which I believe is incredibly important. Children can instantly feel who truly cares for them, and our son remembers every teacher’s name and genuinely loves them all. We are also very grateful for the entire Goddard Windward leadership team. It is clear that they constantly work hard to create a safe, loving, and well-organized environment for all the children. Our son is excited to go to school every day and looks forward to all the new activities. Communication is excellent, the environment is clean and positive, and we truly feel we made the right choice. We live a little farther from Goddard Windward than most families, but we felt it was the best choice for our kid. He’s been there for over a year now and everyone feels like family. (His teacher even attended his birthday party, on a weekend!) For us, it is definitely worth the drive! We love the dedication to the kids and their families. They put so much heart into all they do, from academics to events to safety. The owners are on site every day, the teachers are treated well (great for the low turnover), and the staff always greet you with a smile and helping hand. I highly suggest following them on Facebook and Instagram. (That’s how I found them and learned a lot before touring!) You will get an immediate sense of the vibe and culture, one that is bright, cheerful, diverse, fun, inviting, and loving!

We moved our two daughters to Goddard Windward in August from Goddard Crabapple and we are so glad we did. The owners are onsite every day and are heavily involved with running the school. The student-teacher ratio is great, and they have a strong administrative staff as well. Many staff members have kids enrolled at the school which I also love to see. Ms. Karlie in the penguins class is top notch. My daughter never hesitates to go straight to her. We’re very happy that we landed here!
