The Giving Tree

I cannot recommend Giving Tree enough. From day one, they felt less like a daycare and more like parenting mentors. Miss Aliya recognized my son’s hunger cues as an infant (when I sadly did not), Miss Tameisha unlocked starting solids for us (key: strawberries), and Miss Eb went above and beyond by making herself available whenever we needed support. Miss Alisha’s dedication is unmatched — from dressing up as an inflatable duck on Halloween for the kiddos, to giving my husband and me extra blankets and clothes when we underestimate the weather (and my child’s blowouts). She notices every detail, remembers the little things, and treats each child like her own. When I made a last-minute request for them to care for my son while I packed for Disney World last week, they responded with kindness and flexibility. When I dropped him off today (after lugging him around Orlando for four straight days because he preferred me to his uncle, his aunt, and even his father), my son toddled on over to hug Miss Tameisha and didn’t care one bit that I was saying goodbye — the clearest sign of the love and trust they’ve built. We are deeply grateful for Giving Tree and highly recommend them.

The Giving Tree is such a great fit for my daughter - we absolutely love it! You can tell the teachers genuinely care about the kids and go above and beyond to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for them to develop. Special shoutout to the Infant Class teachers who made sure my daughter felt loved and supported as she adjusted to daycare. You made a hard transition feel way more manageable for both of us. I highly recommend The Giving Tree to anyone looking for daycare options in the area.

Our experience at The Giving Tree has been wonderful! Our son loves his class with Ms. Shakina and Ms. Dana, and is always excited to greet Ms. Shante and Ms. Alisha each morning. We’re given lots of updates on his progress, how his day went and sent lots of photos and videos. He has a blast with all the engaging activities like music, soccer, and gymnastics, and really looks forward to going each day. Everyone at The Giving Tree has been so kind and caring! We couldn’t be happier.

The Giving Tree has been a fantastic daycare for our son, from infancy to the older toddler class. The teachers are caring and attentive, and he’s always excited to go. He’s made great friends, enjoys activities like music, gymnastics, and soccer, and has learned so many life skills. We highly recommend it!

We have had an amazing experience at the Giving Tree in Logan Square. Our daughter is stimulated, happy, and does a huge variety of activities throughout the day. There is music, crafts, soccer, yoga, circle time, reading, and other activities to keep her busy and constantly learning. It has been great for her socialization skills and she is excited to go to school every day. We have had great experiences with all the teachers so far including Ms Dana, Ms T, Ms Linda, Ms Cece, and Mrs McPhaul. We love seeing Ms Alisha and Ms Shante every morning/evening too and they are a dream to work with! Highly recommend.
