What Parents Say
The Gift of Kids receives overwhelmingly positive reviews praising the owner Jenn, staff warmth, and quality care. However, one parent reported serious safety concerns including undocumented injuries to their child and inadequate incident documentation.
Best day care ever!!! There is no other day car like Gift Of Kids. The Owner and all her staff are great with all the little ones. They treat the parents and the little ones great. My son loves going to school. He has a blast. From 6 weeks old tell now. He’s 15 months now and he just runs to play at drop off. So great thank you Gift Of Kids.
Our kids have gone here for years. No place comes close to the care that our kids received while at the Gift of Kids. They just spent the summer in their Adventure Camp where they traveled to parks, museums, movie theaters, and countless other places. They provided a safe and adventurous environment. Know that if you choose to take your kids here they are in good hands ❤️
Jenn and her crew are literally second to none. Moved to the area from Austin TX where we had an in home day care after a terrible experience with a chain. We were worried bringing our daughter to a bigger scale daycare as we are both very busy during the day. They have not failed us once and in fact exceeded our expectations. I consider all the staff family of my own. They don't have retention issues with their employees and everyone's mood is simply 100 in positivity whenever I walk in. I can't say enough about this place. Thank every single one of you for your greatness!
In the beginning I loved this day care. They had lots of cool amenities and teachers. Then not even a week into having my kids here I picked up my son with four different bruises and one cut on his body. That were not documented and nobody could tell me what happened to him. They instead attempted to gaslight me as if I wouldn’t know if my three year old got an owie at home. Even upon looking at the time stamps and photos sent it very clearly happened at the day care in the teachers care. My son told me in the car (he wasn’t comfortable saying anything in front of the teachers) he told me in private that his friend kicked him in the face. Now my three year old is still learning that everyone has their own names so he calls everyone his friend. This is highly concerning to me weather it was clearly negligence or abuse. I reported them to licensing and had to make a police report. He also had a 4 inch object shaped red mark on his upper back when I picked him up, he did say he fell when I asked him which toddlers do sometimes but again it was not documented and from the claims of the staff and owner they saw nothing and he was happy the whole day. He never went back after that day and for about a whole week he had un safe behaviors like hitting throwing punching kicking and screaming. Eventually throughout me working with him he hasn’t had that happening but I fear it’s because of whatever was going on or the lack of observation in the facility. The owner is highly professional, but lacked the care for this incident and seemed to only care more about protecting the day cares reputation rather than the well being of the children. Hopefully after my advocating they will have enforced more training and education for the employees as well as further security measures in place for the safety of the children. God bless and have a blessed day.
Jenn and her team are awesome. Our daughter was in their baby class for about a year and loved it, we're only pulling her out because of our family situation but would definitely recommend them!
