What Parents Say
The French Montessori Preschool of San Diego receives mostly positive reviews, with parents praising the bilingual and trilingual education, caring teachers, and supportive environment. However, one parent raised concerns about high teacher turnover and limited owner communication after enrollment.
My son just graduated from French Montessori Preschool. We were very happy with our experience here over the past two years. He acclimated quickly to the classroom experience with the help of Miss Jessica. All of the teachers for each class are bilingual in both English and Spanish, and they have a separate teacher who comes and teaches French, Miss Cat. My son made lots of friends, and loved all of his teachers, including Miss Anahid, Miss Claudia, and Miss Clara. Their summer program for kids was really fun, too. Even after graduating from school, my son asks if he can pay his old teachers a visit -- which they welcome. And, for what it's worth, he learned plenty of French, and he really enjoys speaking it! :-) Thanks for a great experience.
My little boy has gone to French Montessori for 2 years. He loves it, he’s grown so much. It’s fun for us because he particularly enjoys learning French there and tells us what he knows in an accent way better than I ever accomplished 😂 I can tell he has a really lovely connection with his teacher, Miss Jessica, and they make sure to celebrate birthdays and holidays too.
Unfortunately, my review was unkindly deleted from YELP. I guess the truth fit the shoe. If You're looking for an amazing Montessori/Trilingual Preschool for your child, it's best YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!! This Preschool is now known to have Extremely high turn over in teachers and can likely cause inconsistency in teaching your child. I have experienced it personally! For example: One week there is a Lovely Introduction of a new teacher(s) & the next week they no longer teach at the school?? Please explain how this is healthy for our children's mind? Furthermore, Good luck speaking to the owner, Emily. Her lack of presence/communication really reflects in the schools day to day operations being led by individuals whom are not even certified to run a Montessori School. She will definitely show up to tour her school but once enrolled, best of luck seeing her again. Please read other reviews on YELP before considering this school, the owners response says it all!!!
Great school. Our little girl started there 3 months ago and we are so happy about everything. The staff is very kind and take great care of the kids. We have visited many pre-schools and this one was the perfect fit for us !
We are long time customers if this preschool- started in the summer of 2016. Loving teachers and a friendly atmosphere has been great for all three of my kids.
