The Flance Early Learning Center

My oldest son just finished his time at Flance, and our youngest is just about to get started there. We absolutely adore the team, the community, and the facilities at Flance! There really isn't another early learning facility like this, and if you are in the market for daycare/pre-k for your little ones and live anywhere close to Flance you are doing yourself a disservice not to AT LEAST go take a tour.

There are many great things about this place but they're not perfect (who is though). Lets start with the good: 1. They greet everyone walking in the door and always have someone at the desk monitoring people in and out. 2. They keep the classrooms clean and have plenty of activities for the children. 3. They send pictures throughout the day in their mobile app and you can message them in the app when they don't answer their phone. (Cause I can rarely reach them on the phone) 4. They bring doctors to the school to do regular check ups on the children if you opt in. As for the bad: 1. THEY RARELY ANSWER THEIR PHONES!!!!! I have called all day sometimes and they never answer. 2. I've seen many children and even my child will come home with a snotty nose and very dirty... kids will get dirty but I at least expect you to clean his nose. Wear gloves if you must but do it please. 3. The final pick up time is 5:30, it would be so much more convenient if it were 6pm. Overall, they are very accomodating and will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable.

If you're weighing your daycare options, move Flance to the top of your list! I could write a book full of praise for this center! My toddler son has been attending Flance for 6-8 months now and I truly could not be happier. The onboarding process was quick and seamless, the facility is beautiful, and the staff and administration are incredibly kind, communicative, and professional. From the edible garden, to art therapy, to the onsite health clinic (with free weekly covid testing!), it's clear that Flance takes a holistic approach to the wellbeing of their students. They even use an app so you can see photos of the kiddos throughout the day and easily communicate with the teachers. My son thrives here, is challenged daily, and loves "going to school". We'll be so sad when it's time to go to kindergarten! Of course, this is real life (during COVID, no less), so not everything has been perfect, but the staff here addresses issues perfectly. They invite and are very receptive to feedback, show genuine empathy when I have concerns, and always respond swiftly. What more can you ask for? Flance really is the best of the best.

Some of the staff are really in lack of this one: "Ability to communicate with and maintain a welcoming and constructive relationship with children and adults." They just pretend to love and care for the kids.

I had a bad experience wit tha staff at flance on how they care for my son i pick em up a lotta times pampers b soaaked an teachers dont teach them nothing but to teach 2 year olds how to play wit baby doll try to resolve the matter respectfully an i got put out an police being called because i said u cant run this daycare like your country an my son wasnt watch properly he got bite in the face by another kid cause he wasnt being watched he busted his HEAD on bikes wit no helmet then after that they gettem 2 weeks later an then they closed his hand in he door he needed stitches for that they jis HIRING anybody cause they need help bad they hiring people that dnt care about kids they jus care about money jus like the day care they call a school.
