Our family has had an incredibly positive experience at The Early Years School. This school is a GEM in Santa Monica. Our kids loved going to school here every day. The environment they create, the teachers and staff, the way they approach young children, is all informed by research in early childhood development. I love the way they talk to and interact with the kids!! It's respectful, loving, kind and clear. This school feels like a true community. Parents all interact and are included in several events and celebrations throughout the year, and it's easy to build relationships with the teachers and one another. They really see your child and meet their needs and interests. There is a peace and calm when you enter the school and all the environments that kids love to explore. They nurture their interests and do a lot of art which we love. We toured many preschools and couldn't be happier with choosing The Early Years School!!
The Early Years is an incredible preschool school with kind and nurturing teachers who have been at the school for a long time (some 20 years) and a director who truly partners with parents to support their child’s growth. We love the social, emotional growth and all the learning our child has done through play. It’s a sweet and wholesome environment that focuses on the right things. We’ve felt to grateful to have found TEYS!
In a short period of 3 months, our family has fallen in love with TEYS! Our son enjoys his time in school while learning important life skills as he gets ready for the next round. The school's evolved and sophisticated charm fosters a sense of belonging not just for the children but for the parents as well. We look forward to sending our second and third here :)
