Wish i could give 0 or negative stars for this place! Principle and Techer will not communicate with the parent about any altercations that happen, they prefer to parent the child themselves. Can not try to stop the behavior when the parent does not know about it.
My son has been at this school for 2 years now and will not be returning for Kindergarten! The principal here does not take the time to know the parents nor the students in my personal opinion! She's never available when requested and I've had this discussion with several other parents! My son got into an altercation with another child (which was recurring and I felt the situation should have been dealt with from the beginning) and when I picked him up from school May 10th he had bloody scratches all over his face! I asked to speak with the principal that had to be reached by cell because once again she's never available! For some reason didn't know of the other continuous incidents and they all get wrote up so that was odd! The only option she presented to me was to change schools since i voiced I didn't feel that my child was in safe hands! The kids have less than 3 weeks of school left and that was her way of dealing with the situation! She didn't apologize or even think to try and reconcile the situation! I spoke with the lady in charge of the ELC programs and now waiting to hear back from the superintendent (assistant) but I'd rather speak with the superintendent himself because there's more to the situation such as information being withheld that I have been requesting for months now!
