The Creative Learning Academy

Don’t let the slightly strange location turn you off, our son has thrived at Creative Learning Academy. Our child started at a home daycare run by one of the owners (Ms. Poonam) who is, herself, fantastic. When she told us she opened a new daycare center, we moved our son as he had out-grown her home space. We were nervous for the transition, but he loves his new teachers and hopefully asks every morning if its “a daycare day”. The space is bright and open with lots of toys and the teachers do a great job creating a curriculum and providing a variety of activities. We were concerned that the location meant they wouldn’t get enough outdoor time, but we get pictures of them at the playground nearly every day. They walk to the playground and I think they stay for 30 minutes to an hour. We also get a lot of pictures throughout the day – more than we did at our home daycare. Our son is in Ms. Cora’s classroom and he is a huge fan. We are so glad we found Creative Learning Academy.

We enrolled our 2-year-old daughter at CLA for part-time care, She absolutely loved her time at CLA! The founder, Poonam, is highly responsive and genuinely cares about the daycare and the children. All the teachers are wonderful, attentive, and nurturing. I truly wish CLA was a little closer to our home so my daughter could have continued full-time. From day one, our experience at CLA was great. My daughter started at 6 months old, but had a very rough time adjusting often being inconsolable for 3+ hours. The teachers were so caring and flexible, following all my advice with lots of patience. Thanks to them, after the first week, she stopped crying at drop-offs and is now always happy going in and at pick ups. The staff have also been great with our older toddler who goes to another school (we did not move him right away as we had too many big changes happening over the past year and we didn't want to add more to that). Whenever we needed emergency care, they always tried to it him in if they had the space. This kind of flexibility has been a huge help for our family. They are also great at sending tons of pictures everyday, keeping me up to date with how my daughter is doing. Its so comforting to see here having fun and learning new things. This is our second child, so we've had experience with other daycares, and I have to say, this one has been a very positive experience. The facility is spacious and very well equipped, which creates a great environment for the kids. If i were to give any criticism, it would be that they sometimes rotate teachers between different classrooms, which has caused some confusion with some of the instructions I've given. But overall, my daughter loves the opportunity to interact with all staff, who really care about our kids and their happiness. I would definitely recommend CLA to any parent looking for a loving and supportive daycare.

My twin boys attended Creative Learning Academy from 6 months old until toddler age, and I'm thrilled with the exceptional care and education they received. The owner, director, and staff are dedicated professionals who genuinely care about each child's well-being and development. Their expertise and kindness created a nurturing environment that allowed my boys to thrive. I'm particularly impressed with the range of skills my children developed during their time at Creative Learning Academy. They learned sign language and Spanish, which has fostered a love for communication and language. The academy's focus on gross motor skills helped my boys develop physically, and they enjoyed the various activities and play-based learning. What struck me most, however, was the love and care that the staff showed my family. They were always available to address my concerns, offer guidance, and provide reassurance. As a parent, it's been incredible to see my children grow and develop in such a supportive and stimulating environment. I'm grateful for the foundation Creative Learning Academy has provided, and I'm confident that your child will thrive here as well.
