Families highlight strong communication through daily updates and photos, developmentally appropriate activities, and a nurturing approach that supports both children's learning and emotional growth.
Our family loves TGS! We started a few weeks ago and as first time daycare attenders, I was nervous. But the teachers and director made us feel like we were at home from day 1. The teachers are all so communicative, engaging, and experts in childcare. I love the socialization our son gets each day and the staff make it easy to feel like he's getting the best care and attention.
Every staff member at The Gardner School Naperville North shows such a passion for working with children and helping them to learn and grow. We feel comfortable every day knowing our daughter is being cared for by a team of loving teachers and staff members. We love seeing the daily updates and pictures of what they did throughout the day. Our daughter is excited to go to school every day, which speaks volumes about the care the teachers provide. And she has already learned so much, from her shapes, letters, colors, and numbers to important emotional regulation skills. We are so happy with our experience at Gardner!
We had our son at Gardner when he was only 3 months old. Gardner school makes me feel it’s a safe place for my baby, we love all his teachers, they also offer rich curriculum for little ones, we signed up gym, music etc. as we wanted to expose all different things to my little guy. Real time communication really make me feel secured as a first time mom. Now our 2nd child, my sweet 3 month baby girl has enrolled Gardner school at Naperville, I know she is in good hands :)
As a first time mom, I feel very comfortable dropping my 20 month old off for the day. They made time for my baby and us to meet her teachers and it helped make the first day smoother. By the third day, my daughter was asking for her teacher in the mornings and no longer crying at pick up and drop off but actually looking forward to school. The staff feels like family at this point and my daughter has grown in a lot of ways since starting. The school isn’t incredibly strict but rather very nurturing to help your baby transition to school routines. They do frequent diaper changes that are recorded (never came home with diaper rash), provide a variety of healthy food options for meals and snacks (which is the best part to not worry about packing meals), and do so many activities all morning!
I would not recommend this daycare. My experience has been extremely disappointing and concerning. Communication with parents is very poor, and important updates are rarely shared in a timely or clear manner. The staff often seemed disorganized and inattentive, and I did not feel that my child was receiving the level of care, supervision, and support that was promised.
