We've had our 4 year old at the ECC for nearly two years and are very very happy! The new Director has done an incredible job of elevating the program and staff in the past year and a half and it's by far the best program we've had our kids in. The class sizes are very small and our daughter has gotten lots of individualized attention in reading and math to the extent that she's way beyond prepared for kindergarten next year. Beyond that, the center is located right in downtown Birmingham, across the street from the library, a park, great restaurants, etc. It's very convenient to have childcare right in the middle of so many places you'd want to spend time. And being part of the Community House, we're plugged in to so many community events and have built great friendships because of this program. We look forward to our next kid being there soon too!

My kids have been here since beginning of COVID and we cannot say enough positive things! Mrs Sarah Schuster is the director and she’s fantastic at what she does - so organized, attentive and creative. All of the teachers are amazing - Ms Jackie, Mrs Joy, Ms Emma Ms Allie, Ms Namita Ms Jenni Ms Kari Ms Elizabeth Ms Nina Ms J - we could go on and on and hopefully I am not forgetting anyone. It’s a team effort and everyone there is so wonderful and caring! Highly recommend the ECC.

We've had a wonderful time at the Community House Early Childhood Center with our two children, one in the infant room and one in preschool. My daughter has learned so much since starting there and continually brings home knew talents and skills I had no idea she'd mastered. The staff are smart, kind, caring and creative and we know our kids are in the best possible hands.

We've been so pleased with our care at the ECC at The Community House. We originally chose to look for a care center to suit our 2.5 year old's speech delay - we felt confident and comfortable with the experience of the teachers at the facility. Fast forward to when he was able to start at age 3 and we've been blown away. Drop offs are no longer a struggle, he's talking more and his overall attitude has improved. The weekly correspondence from the staff was a lovely surprise to know what the kids have been up to. We are so happy we made the change!

This place is my first home i would say. I love it so much and my kids are the happiest! We have been at this school since 2020 when we moved from california in the middle of the pandemic and our 4 kids have been here since then!!! If you ever need to talk just hit me up!!! Ms sarah and all the teachers are not only teachers, they have become my family!!
