The Silver Lake Church Pre-School is phenomenal! My grandson attended as a 4 year old and will be starting Kindergarten program this year. He has had a lot of stressful events the last 2 years and Morgan Weekly and Mrs.McBride (and other teachers) have been a huge support. My daughter made the decision to keep him in the Kindergarten program because he is familiar with the teachers and knows he will not get the same support in public school; these teachers truly care about their students and they have all kinds of resources. Last year he got to perform in their CHRISTMAS pageant. He learned the Pledge of Allegiance, he got to garden, make new friends, and his vocabulary skyrocketed! I can’t wait to see his growth in 25-26! Get your child on the list!

Set up was awkward and came across as unprepared. Couldn’t really see or hear the choir. The songs were played at a faster tempo than they were written. **Sermon -8 Used videos and prepared speech. Good Speaker. Tasteful use of humor. **Venue-8 Clean and welcoming. *--Scale Traditional (1)-Contemporary (10)--* **Music-5 Mix of Traditional and Contemporary. Mix of hymns and contemporary music from the early 2000s. Piano and Vocals. No clapping. **Sermon-8 Old Testament message delivered as applicable to modern life. **Venue-6 Pews, but updated with a modern look. *--Comfort (Scale 1-10)--* **Seating-8 Cushioned pews. *--Friendliness (Scale 1-10)--* **Congregation-8 Greeted by a handful of members. Welcoming, but not overbearing. **Pastor-9 Projector or Overhead? Yes, two overhead projectors. Used iPad as lecturn. Bulletin with order of service? Yes Length of Service: 60 minutes "Fellowship" Before or After Service? Yes, offered coffee and treats after service. Put visitors on the spot? No. Said “hello,” but did not make a big deal during service.
The most warm and welcoming church I have ever attended. I am pleased to be a new member. It is open and accepting of all. A joy to attend.
