Acknowledge people that might be guests. One thing I appreciate if I'm visiting the pastor acknowledging guests.. I liked him and the message he gave. Smaller sized church .

As a woman and someone with a troubled past, now redeemed by God—I have long searched for a church that truly felt like home. From the moment I walked into this one, I was welcomed with open arms. Associate Pastor Juan Carlos immediately reached out, scheduling a lunch with my husband—not to pry, but simply to get to know us. I have attended Watermark and other large churches in Dallas, but for me personally, they felt hollow. To me, they seemed more like social clubs—sorority or fraternity gatherings disguised as church services. There was an unspoken expectation to dress a certain way, and the groups often felt intrusive before any real relationships had been built. But here, it’s different. Pastor Barry, his wife Amy, and the entire pastoral staff are one of a kind. Unlike the large churches that seem more focused on their own self-made documents and social media followings, this church is alive—you can feel the Holy Spirit moving due to its rooted approach. First, through the warmth of the congregation, and then, undeniably, through the preaching of Pastor Barry. I have shed literal tears during Pastor Barry’s sermons because the Word he preaches cuts straight to the heart. This is not about showmanship—it is about the Good News of Jesus Christ. So I urge you—come visit. Experience it for yourself.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS MOVING IN THIS CHURCH! If you're looking for a Bible-driven, Holy Spirit-led church, this is it! Pastor Barry (Clingan) is one of the most dynamic preachers in all of DFW, staying faithful to the Word. He doesn’t mince words, doesn’t water down Scripture, and doesn’t turn every Sunday into a self-help seminar or trivialize Jesus. Being from Tennessee and a southerner, Pastor Barry isn’t concerned with trendy clothes, fake prescription glasses, or appearances (wearing make up like some local pastors do/did*)—he simply preaches the Word with boldness while maintaining a incredible sense of humor and wit. Not only does he encourage prayer, but he leads by example—getting down on his knees in front of the entire congregation and inviting others to do the same! Too many churches focus on life advice over the Truth of God’s Word, but here, the Word is front and center, with a few well-placed anecdotes and humor to drive it home. There is no gimmicks, smoke, or big screens rather Miss Katy Grace on the vocals and Jaimee* on the piano which brings that old-school feel. Highly recommended church and school. Amazing church with a family atmosphere. If you’re looking for a smaller church, with Godly worship and biblical preaching, this is the place for you. There is also a Preschool and Academy colocated with the church that serves infants to Kindergarten.

Our little ones have gone here for summer camp and pre-school. We love this church and the school, it's members and teachers have all been amazing and we are lucky to have them here in #TCRA
