The Children'S Center Suffolk Head Start

My daughter and my son went here !! My son just graduated and is on his way to kindergarten! My daughter will be attending again in September but as a parent I was skeptical looking for reviews and barely found any so I have to leave one ! The teachers are AMAZING and cared for my kids soooo well like their Own .. they have soooo many parent events that we are able to be involved in it’s amazing ! I highly recommend… ONE THING I will say is they need nicer bus drivers .. I wouldn’t want anyone talking to my kids the way I’ve caught one lady or two other then that pls send your kids here the staff and teachers are extraordinary..

I wanted to take a second and really commend this school. I saw it had a one star rating and I was extremely hesitant at first. My son attended this school for early head start and head start and I cannot say enough good things about it. My son struggles with transitional issues along with sensory issues and behavioral issues. This school went ABOVE and BEYOND for him, adjusting drop off times, buying pillows for his sensory needs, bringing in behavioral therapists to help in the classroom, CONSTANT communication with teachers (Mrs Ashley, Mrs Raven and Mrs Ferrell we’re amazing) and the staff (student advocate Mrs Toya) gave tremendous amounts of support where I had none. I drove 45 mins back and forth for my son to attend this school before he got accepted into Public School, and he still talks about his teachers here. If you have babies here know your babies are safe and loved here. I just wish I could’ve had everyone sign his “The Places You’ll go” book! I cannot say and speak enough good things about this school. ❤️
