Do not send your children here. The old admin was great and we had zero issues with sending our child. Once the new management came in things went down hill quickly. New teachers in and out weekly, extreme diaper rash to the point of getting our dr. involved, no security for entering school and picking up child, picking up our child in a completely different classroom and age group from when we dropped them off, the list goes on. These are only the things we caught - I cannot even imagine what occurred once parents were not around. For the safety of your children, DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I would of recommended this place a month ago ! But they’ve made recent staff and administration changes and I do not feel safe not do I feel comfortable recommending this place to anyone! My son came home with a diaper rash . I called so I could get a solution! I gave them the opportunity to fix the concerns of them not doing regular diaper changes! And instead the old man in charge said how old is he? He’s never had a diaper rash ? Wow incredible I have 4 kids and x amount of kids and they got diaper rashes ! I’m not talking to my sitter I’m talking to the director of the place where I should feel comfortable leaving my son while I’m at work! Instead of giving a solution or getting some kind of understanding!!!! I got your lucky this is his first diaper rash how do you want this issue to be fixed ? I will not be taking my son to this day care nor do i recommend this place ! I said a few not so nice words and he said wow what good language from a mom ! Damn right I would do worst for my baby! Only a mother knows how I feel ! Look at the reviews! The only reason they have a rating over 4 is from past administration! Look at all the recent reviews! DO NOT BRING YOUR BABIES HERE! Safety concerns and kids not being well taken care of ! All rooms use to be full now all kids go to one room the classes not being used ! The blanket I take for my son to nap hadn’t been used since new staff came in ! Please take your kids out of this place if you haven’t already!
I wish zero stars was an option. TCA went under new ownership of Russ Arnold and I couldn’t imagine a worse case scenario. He has completely ruined what used to be a family oriented, trustworthy, and reputable daycare. I emailed to cancel enrollment and request my deposit back, as the contract does not state that it is non-refundable. I have emailed a total of 5 times without a response and called 7 days in a row. His employees who answer the phone say they don’t know where he is and he only comes to the building after hours. He is refusing to give former employees their last paychecks as well as refusing to pay current employees. Please look at the Texas licensing website to research the recent compliance issues, including allowing teachers to work without cleared background checks. Children’s lives are at stake under Russ Arnold’s ownership. I have contacted the BBB and encourage others to do the same. Get your children out of here far away from him as soon as possible. This is so scary and sad.
We were once very happy with TCA and had been bringing our child there for over three years. Unfortunately, since the recent change in management, our experience has significantly declined. Communication has been poor, and we are still waiting to receive the spring pictures we paid for. The last day I let my child attend the children seemed to be not following the structured schedule that had previously been in place. It's disappointing to see how quickly things have changed, especially after years of positive experiences.
My child was only able to stay for a single day due to a complete lack of communication. As a first-time parent, it’s incredibly unsettling not knowing how your child is doing throughout the day, especially when no one answers the phone until after 1pm. Over five hours passed with no updates on basic things like diaper changes or feedings. When inquired about the best way to communicate, I was told to email next time. In a world so connected by technology, this level of communication is simply unacceptable. Please seek out daycare that not only welcomes you, but also demonstrates integrity, offering you the peace of mind that your child is truly in good hands.
