Toured the facility and children were at max capacity per person. So there was a room with like 14 kids and only one adult. It wasn’t even 9am yet and they had a big screen on with a YouTube video so you can imagine what kind of education they receive. I also found this penalty from the MSDH website from 2023 which definitely scared me away. Two teachers were outright hitting children and the owner didn’t fire them until MSDH confirmed everything despite video evidence and testimonies.
Excellent staff. They are attentive to your and your child's needs. They are kind, compassionate and have empathy. I was very nervous leaving my kid in someone else's care and did not know what to expect. I am pleased to say that they are doing a good job. My kid used some foul language and had some issues with bullying. They immediately corrected the behavior. My only criticism would be that I wish they had cameras in each room that the parents could watch. My kids are more important to me than my own life, having said that I can understand that there may be some overzealous parents that may give them a hard time over minor issues.
Wonderful Daycare with even better staff! The director is ON IT! We moved out of state to be closer to family and could not have had a better transition. Our child is thriving and loves his classmates. The summer program is awesome! Highly recommend!
This center has loved our child and made him feel welcomed. From a child that went from hardly any outside social interaction, to making friends and LOVING his teacher. He enjoys going here and I couldn’t imagine a better place. His speech has improved drastically and he learns something new everyday and he can’t wait to come home and show us. I toured many facilities in Madison County before choosing one and this one was hands down the best. I recommend this facility!
We’ve loved our time at the Children’s Academy! The teachers and staff are very caring and down to earth. The kids love the activities they plan, especially the fun events and decorations they put up for special occasions and holidays. They make everyone feel welcome.
