The Bridge Church

Wow! I don't even know where to start to tell you how incredible this Church is! When my family found this Church we were looking for a place that really felt like home, and a place where truth was shared. We are a family with an 18 year old, a 15 year old, and a 6 year old. So we needed a Church that excels in all avenues of Ministry. (Rare find right?) Well, we found it here. My two oldest have absolutely Loved Union Student Ministries! (The Youth group)! Pastor Cameron and his team don't just want kids to have Fun they help them find, and chase after God. They are there for these kids literally 24/7 and will make sure no one has to miss out on any of the incredible things they do. There have been many testimony's of how this Ministry has changed children, and in some cases even entire families lives! My 6 Year Old Son wakes up on Sunday Morning excited to go to Church! Pastor Tommy and the Hi-5 Kids (Our Kids Church) team is amazing with the kids, and not only makes sure they have fun, but they hear The Word of God in a way that is relevant to their life, and helps build good values! There is nothing sweeter than hearing my 6 year old Son excited to go to church, and quoting scripture or singing praise songs. As for the Adults this place is AMAZING! Pastor Jeff and his team LOVE People, and want to see people be victorious in life, and walk in the purpose God has set forth in their lives! There are so many opportunities to get plugged in, and really become part of the family. I do not consider these folks the people I go to Church with they are our Family 2.0 and we do life together. We do Ministry together, we praise together, worship together, and encourage each other. There are opportunities for everyone. Our Women's Ministry is unmatched for spiritual growth and guidance of Women trying to walk with Good in today's world. The Man Up (Men's Ministry) Is a group of Men meeting, and having a good time while drawing closer to God and learning how to live the Life of a Godly Man! The Praise and Worship team is incredible, The Greeting team is warm and friendly and people are actually excited to see you when you arrive! When someone in this Church has a need they send a message on the mobile app and in seconds people are praying, and believing for or with them for whatever that need is! This Church is full of Miracles, and truly wants you to be the next Miracle. If you are wanting to meet God, draw closer to him, find your purpose, or learn how to walk in it. This is the Place for you! If you are a Young Family wanting to connect to a place that will help you grow spiritually, as a person, as a Parent, and as a Spouse don't walk, RUN to 5 Stone Church this Sunday! 5 Stone Church has changed my Life and so many others. Amazing! Everyone is so nice there! Definitely Recommend, there is a youth group as well! Something not a lot of churches have. Positive vibes!

This is home, this is where family is. The people who make up this church are some of the most respectful, honorable, and humble individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The pastoral staff here are absolutely incredible, they care for you on a personal level - wanting you to not only grow in faith but as a person as well. The dedication goes far beyond the normal Sunday sermons too! There's the Kids group, Youth group, various life groups, and a plethora of events targeted to help the community or just have fun. Everyone is involved in something at the church and it genuinely feels like attending a family event every church function or Sunday morning. Sunday services are filled with professional level music that hits you in the heart! This is the home of Mix Master Pastor Jeff Slambert and he never misses when it comes to the message either. He is able to make scripture relatable to modern day and easy to understand! Most importantly - he's an easy guy to talk to. Yeah he's a 7ft tall giant but trust me he's chill. Bishop Cameron is the worship leader along with being the Youth Pastor. He has the unique ability to motivate teenagers to actually care about faith and improving themselves. He and the youth workers go above and beyond for each and every teen its remarkable. They even go to baseball games, football games, and other events the kids are involved with! The passion they have for working with/ helping the youth is heartwarming to see. Pastor Tommy is the Kids Pastor. He is like a shorter slightly less bald Pastor Jeff. This man makes church a place kids WANT to be at. Yeah, you read that right, they actually want to go attend church every Sunday. I have no idea how he got that super power but thank you for your service sir. Overall: The place is clean, the people are nice, and you're always treated like family. The church is ever growing! Seeing this church go from literally dead to prospering in just a few years was honestly rather incredible. If you made it through reading this entire review then coolio, thanks. My wife and I just moved to Powhatan and were looking for a new church home. They're a small family church and we visited in October 2022. Our background is Pentecostal/Charismatic and we thought 5 Stone might be a good fit. We enjoyed the worship but were disappointed that only one person spoke to us during our visit. It was pretty obvious we were first time visitors. We filled out the visitors card and provided contact information, yet never heard from anyone. I'm assuming they want to grow and just need a better follow up process. We will be attending another church in the area.

My wife and I saw Austin French sing at 5 Stone. The praise and worship team was outstanding. The church is really nice and it's wheelchair accessible. The staff was super friendly.
