A staff member hunted me down at 5pm to let me know that a parent wants to talk to me about an incident that happened with my child and another student. They never called me about the incident. Instead they were very rude and insisted I wait on the parent to arrive. The parent through she could interview my child and the staff watched me shut it down from the end of the block . I won’t be back if this doesn’t get handled. As of now I do not recommend this boys club.
I am 82 years old now and have very good memories of this specific boys club which I was a member during my teens. I lived around the corner at 2158 second Ave, so naturally I spent a lot of time there playing pool, ping pong, swimming, basketball, boxing, etc. and watching movies on many a Saturday. Also played stick ball on that wall and on that specific street (111th street between 1st and 2nd aves)...good memories
They were very kind and staff gave a lot of free time to my children
