From the moment our chunky 3-month-old stepped foot into the center to now, at two and a half years old, we have felt nothing but care, support, and genuine love. The love and dedication shown by the teachers and even up to the corporate team means more to us than we can put into words. We are especially grateful for Ms. Oktober, who began this journey with as us as our son's infant teacher and is now the director of the center. The Barrington School of Columbus will always have a special place in our heart. Our daughter attended for over four years and our son two and a half years. Megan is an amazing director! She has made a ton of positive changes that we have seen throughout our time with Barrington, and she really took the time to get to know our family and our kids' needs. The teachers are amazing!! As a teacher myself, it was so great to know that our kids were not just being cared for, but shown love and given so many opportunities to grow academically and socially. All the teachers really strive to get to know the kids and work with them one-on-one to help them grow in the areas in which they may need. Both of our children went through a phase where they were very hesitant to be dropped off in the mornings, but the care and love shown by the teachers helped them not only be comfortable at Barrington, but really come out of their shell and become more confident kids. Ms. Raquel also has gotten our kids to eat all their vegetables at school! I must know her secret! The Barrington school has been a family for us the past four years. We cannot thank them enough and know you will love it just as much as us!
Barrington has been a wonderful fit for our family! They offer diverse lessons while maintaining routine and consistency for our kids. Our daughter loves the music and yoga classes. As working parents, we especially appreciate the provided diapers, wipes and organic food. We receive updates throughout the day and their teachers communicate with us frequently regarding their progress. We appreciate the smaller, family feel of this location- every teacher knows every child. My kids are excited every morning to arrive!
Barrington School of Columbus has exceeded all of my expectations. As a first time mom I was extremely anxious sending my child to daycare for the first time - they have been so helpful and supportive, I reach out and ask about my child daily and have always gotten a super helpful response, I get updates and photos before I even ask. The staff is absolutely wonderful, they feel more like family and we look forward to seeing them each day. We absolutely love Miss Miranda and Miss Lucia - could not have a better team in place for parents bringing in their little ones. And Megan and Darby (center director and assistant director) are absolutely wonderful with communication. I would recommend Barrington and especially this particular location on Bethel to all parents.
We love Barrington school on Bethel - my oldest has been going for 4 years and my youngest for a year. The school staff has always treated my kids with love and respect and both kids love going and love their teachers. We are also a part time family and my schedule has changed a few times over the years and the school has always worked with me to ensure we have the coverage we need. Anytime one of my children has had an issue, management and teachers have worked with me to provide my kids the best care possible. My youngest has a severe food allergy and the staff has been wonderful working with us on her dietary issues. TLDR: It’s hard to leave your kids, but Barrington has made it infinitely easier for us - we know our kids are safe, cared for, and loved by the staff.
