My son absolutely loves The Avenue. He's now three and a half and he's been attending since he was 4 months old. The ladies here love the children like their own. They decorate for the holidays, draw, craft, read, go on field trips, and make lasting friendships. They learn so much - my son can write his name and count to ten in three languages! Highly recommend for both daycare and preschool.
Great daycare! The kids actually learn, and they start learning from the infant stage!! Very structured environment. I love the communication, I do not usually have to ask how my child is doing, they are great at letting you know. They are always very accommodating. We lucked out getting a spot here when we did because it seems as though every daycare in the city has a crazy long waitlist. They have two other locations as well. Shane’s Friends 1 & 2. FYI.
Very pleased with the care at Avenue! The ladies have been so welcoming, kind, and (most importantly) loving since Day 1; Our little one lights up every time we drop her off. As an added benefit, they engage the children in playtime, learning activities, and crafts. We would recommend this daycare center to anyone.
We have been very happy with the care in the infant room of our son. The staff is very welcoming, and he loves them. He spends almost 9 hours there every day, and doesn't want to go home, reaching for his teachers. They are kind and hardworking and take great care of the students.
Our son was here from 10 weeks old, and we were so grateful to leave him in their capable and loving hands. The teachers care about the kids, are so creative and inventive, celebrate them and really get to know them. The organization was COVID sensitive and responsible. As first time parents we relied on his teachers to help us understand his development, and they even gave us ideas of questions to ask the doctor in the best ways without making it feel like they were telling us what to do. He misses them and the beautiful community they create!!
