My children attended the Alefbet Preschool from 2020-2024, and we had an incredible experience. The school is a warm and caring place that my kids loved, and the teachers there are incredibly nurturing and caring. This program helped prepare my children to love Judaism, develop secular knowledge and skills, and most importantly learn to treat others with empathy and respect. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a school that promotes education and caring environment.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ AlefBet Preschool is Amazing! Both of my daughters have been attending AlefBet Preschool for the second year in a row, and we couldn’t be happier! From the moment we relocated to Atlanta, we were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Risa, the incredible director, who made our transition seamless. The teachers are nurturing, dedicated, and truly invested in the children’s growth. The facility is well-maintained, and the entire environment fosters both learning and a strong sense of community. We are so grateful for the care, education, and Jewish values our daughters receive here. Highly recommend AlefBet to any family looking for a loving and enriching preschool experience!

We’ve been so happy at AlefBet the last 2 years! Our daughter loves her teachers, her friends, and the playful learning approach. I can’t recommend this preschool enough for families with little ones looking for a loving, nurturing, Jewish community.

Let me start by saying that the teachers are warm and caring towards the kids even though there was a red flag for noticeable turnover of new teachers while we were there. It was the administration that made our lives more interesting than needs be. We were told Bright From the Start accredited the school, but I could find no record (which is probably more of a BFtS issue than that of the School), but Aleph Bet preschool does not follow the basic outlines of the BFtS requirements. They do not wipe down changing tables between usage, they do not require children to be signed in and out of the building, and on at least three separate occasions our son was denied large portions of his lunch (the only reason we found out was that they forgot to throw it away, and at least half of the lunch was sent home at the end of the day with him while his daily report stated that he had eaten most or all of his lunch). The parent teacher handbook is circuitously written saying different things on the same topics in various sections - and the administration would point to the section whose wording best supported them at any given moment. It seemed to not be an issue of later versions of the handbook being added onto a previous version either, as all sections at various times were quoted to us. As we were looking around for a new school for our son I asked them three questions on various protocols, including the procedure for leaving midyear. The first question was answered 4 months after sending it to the two administrators in three separate emails and then via certified letter; the second question is still yet to be answered nearly a year later, and the third question (on specifics of when we’d be reimbursed for unused tuition and fees) was vaguely worded with “[i]n answer to your question, usually a check is cut in approximately a week’s time of the child’s last day.” With everything else going on I’ve learned to be wary of even this level of vagueness with the use of the words “usually” and “approximately”. I’ve found similar imprecision in our previous correspondence is code for “we’ll get around to it when we feel like.” If you look into the School as an option please go with very specific questions (down to the “how, exactly is subject X taught?” or “do you take pictures of my child without our consent?”) as we found them very good at putting lipstick on a pig as status quo. I suppose that’s still kosher if you don’t eat it. Oh, and yes – they do take pictures of your kids and post some online or text them even if you sign in the negative a form from the School where they ask if this very thing is ok. Update: we received the first part of the reimbursement in 3 weeks after the last day. Update 2: As of the end of the school year, and nearly 4 months after the first reimbursement we've yet to receive the remaining funds.
