I rate Alaska Club South 5 stars. Ms.Tracy is motivated & determined to keep the club up to date, all while making sure everyone is safe & respected. She goes above & beyond for her members and she try’s to be there when we need her… I would rate 3 stars for accounting in Anchorage. They don’t answer the phone or return phone calls. It’s challenging getting ahold of someone in the accounting office. Ms.Charlotte in Anchorage has been helpful in the past, I’m unsure what’s going on now. I hope they can get it together! But overall my kids & I love Alaska Club & everything it has to offer. A special thank you to Ms.Tracy! I hope you never leave us! ✨💜
I have never belonged to a health club before I joined Alaska Club. My entire family is covered and when I look at my children and their healthy athletic physique, I know this club is well worth it. We swim together and the kids love using the racquetball courts or the Gym. I enjoy working out and finishing up with a sweat in the steam room. I especially enjoy the hydromassage. We also jump at the Fly Trampoline Park a couple times a week and my kids are very active there. Thanks Alaska Club!
I am very impressed with the Alaska Club! I signed up at the Fairbanks location after moving to Alaska, and Emily with member services still helped me when I permanently moved to Wasilla the following week. Emily went out of her way to help me get set up with everything I needed at the Wasilla location. I’m so grateful for her help, because I now hit the Alaska Club in Wasilla at least 4x a week. I’m addicted to the steam room, which motivates me to get to the gym more often for a workout, because I only let myself use the steam room after a workout. The Alaska Club is worth the money you spend on a membership.
My family has had multiple instances where the lifeguards behaved in a racist way towards my children during open swim. I attempted to contact the club directly more than once, leaving voicemails as well as leaving messages with the weekend staff who were working during the incidents. However, no one called me back or addressed any of my concerns in any way.
I absolutely love the option of the all the amenities the club has to offer. The employees are helpful, courteous and caring, but for the price of family membership, plus membership+, I would hope for cleaner locker rooms, showers, gym, etc. I am sure having the 24/7 option makes it hard to keep the gym clean all the time, but you would hope for the majority of the time.
