The Academy of Heritage Commons has been my home for 12 years now. I started in August of 2009 after trying several interviews on for size. When I walked in I felt at home. I am allowed to take my passion for teaching and make it my own. I am given opportunities to get trainings that no school in this area is offering. I am also given an opportunity to help your little one become part of our school family. They are my top concern. I research to see what your child needs. I prepare you and them for a sometimes unknown elementary journey. (Covid had us preparing for unknowns. For instance would Kindergarten be in person or online.) The priority is always your child’s social emotional growth. We build that up so that no one can knock them down. ❤️ We have so many long term dedicated teachers that are a part of my family and also want to be a part of yours. We are so grateful for our experience at the Academy at Heritage Commons. The teachers and staff are incredibly warm, nurturing, and attentive to our daughter’s needs. Our daughter has thrived socially, emotionally, and academically. She is entering kindergarten with confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation in early literacy and problem-solving skills. We made the switch to the Academy of Heritage Commons last year and we have had nothing but a good experience with them. Our daughter is coming home with new things learned each day and singing songs that she is learning. She loves coming into school and we trust each person that is employed here. We also get to eat breakfast with her each morning with the breakfast bar they offer before heading into work, which is super helpful with busy schedules. We are extremely pleased with our decision to switch schools to the Academy and highly recommend them!
