The Academy

We have had two children attend The Academy, and both have had great experiences. Ms. Lana, Ms. Lyndsie, and the entire teaching staff are wonderful. They are patient with the kids and genuinely care about them. The daycare is affordable and they will work with you if needed. They have 2 day, 3 day, and full week plans. I wouldn’t say this is the most advanced or up-to-date daycare in terms of technology, but what it offers is a down-to-earth, family atmosphere that I believe is far more important. It creates an environment where kids feel comfortable and safe. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that security could be strengthened. There is a key code to enter, and everyone uses the same code, which means it has likely been shared widely. Parents often hold the door open for others. I’ve had parents open the door for me when I go to pick up my child, and I’m able to walk in as an adult male without a child present. While the staff knows me, not all parents do. They do have cameras at the front door and in every classroom, but exploring a more secure entry system and possibly investing in an app that allows parents to view their children (as some other daycares offer) might be worthwhile. Overall, however, I do not hold this against them because of how exceptional the staff is with my children. I would definitely recommend this daycare for others.

I can’t say enough great things about this child care center, Lana, Lindsay, and all of the staff have been absolutely amazing to me and my son. Lana has gone above and beyond for us she truly understood our situation and was there for us every step of the way. My son has learned so much since starting here, and it’s clear how much the teachers care. They take the time to work with each child, and I’ve seen my son grow and move up so quickly thanks to their dedication. If you’re looking for a safe, loving, and supportive daycare, this is by far the best choice!

So happy I found this place, we actually followed my daughter's previous teacher from another school because she loved her so much! This has been our favorite daycare (out of 3) by far! Everyone that works here is sooo kind and sweet. I'm so relieved to know my daughter is with caring/nurturing people. Before, I would always worry about her and hated leaving her at other daycares when I wasn't certain what was going on. She's really clingy, so it takes her time to adjust and everyone at The Academy has been so helpful with her transition. Not only that, but I have noticed that she is truly learning and has gotten so good with numbers and letters. I highly recommend this daycare! Only good things to say, everyone I've encountered here is so friendly and welcoming :)

Our son has been going here since June, so almost 5 months, and he has learned SO much in those 5 months it blows me away! His teachers are so sweet and gentle I wish he could stay here forever. The entire staff genuinely cares about the kiddo's and it shows in their work everyday. If you're looking for a daycare where you and your child are not just a number, look here!

This place is wonderful. It is a refuge and the highlight of our granddaughter’s day. They have made us feel absolutely secure in knowing she is loved and cared for. Her sweet, kind and polite social skills have been reinforced and are a credit to the environment they maintain at The Academy. She loves learning and we are sure she will be on track when she eventually starts her formal schooling. She has never complained about anything or had any problems that we know of. This in itself is pretty remarkable.
