What Parents Say
Texas A&M University - Commerce Children's Learning Center receives mostly positive feedback, with parents praising the caring staff, educational curriculum, and security measures. However, a small number of reviews cite concerns about management and director leadership, and one parent reported their child had a negative experience at the facility.
My two sons (3 & 2) have been going here for over a month now. First week was intimidating but now that they have acclimated they love going here. Anne is a pleasure to work with. Very patient, understanding, and caring. I’m so glad I live so close to this location. The teachers are super sweet and gentle with the children. They have lock door policies in place, and monitor who goes through the doors. Highly recommend.
Sending an 8-week-old to day care is not an easy thing to do, but the staff at the CLC made the transition back to work seamless. They have an open door policy and are transparent about what is happening in the center at all times. The director and assistant director are easily accessible and extremely involved in the daily operations of the classrooms. The teachers are all so friendly, well trained, and I know that they truly care about the well being of my son and the other students. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for child care in the Commerce area!
The CLC is amazing! The staff and director Helena are so wonderful. The curriculum that the CLC uses is above par. At two years old my little guy was counting to almost 20, singing the ABCs, learned all his shapes, colors, and would sing a fun song related to TAMUC. My infant would also spent time with the CLC while I was attending classes, and I felt so comfortable and trusted the staff fully. They are more than a school they are family. You wont regret enrolling your littles here. We no longer attend because we live an hour away, but I will say the CLC set some high standards for our family.
Helena is the most unlikable person i’ve ever met. and her hair twin. She is a power hungry dictator that forgets she works for the parents. Not many childcare choices in commerce. Teachers are great. Management was Terrible.
I am really pleased with this place. The staff is wonderful, very professional. My son has learned so many new things since he started here, and keeps learning. I like the curriculum and the way they inform me about my son’s personal issues and activities. I’ve made a big research before enrolling my son here, and I’m positive this is the best preschool around.
