Terra Nova Christian Preschool is an amazing preschool filled with caring teachers and adults. The staff go above and beyond to care for my children, communicate with our family, and help our children grow. We are proud to have our second child attend this school. Each teacher provides educational opportunities as well as active outdoor time. My children don’t want to leave at the end of the day. My two boys have attended Terra nova Christian preschool for 5 years now. I have had a great experience with all of the teachers currently there as well as the director. They acknowledge any concerns I have and have taken great care of my kids. So grateful and thankful for them! Highly recommend!
I’ve had two kids at TNC from 2021-2025. The teachers have all been so kind and loving towards my kids in their various stages, including helping to potty train them. Very grateful that a place like this, with tenured staff, exists here in Pacifica. The director Tatiana is responsive to parent inquiries and does her best to provide a loving environment for all. Note it’s a play based curriculum, and the school publishes a monthly calendar of daily activities.
While our experience was far from positive, I understand that this school may be a fit for some children, especially with the recent leadership changes. The teachers were caring, but we found the curriculum lacking and the administration more focused on pleasing parents than addressing our child's needs. Many parents, who barely knew my kids, had undue influence. There was also a culture of over-reporting behavior, even if they were developmentally appropriate. By the end, my son was walking on eggshells, afraid of being punished for any reaction. The former administrator, who had minimal involvement initially, offered shallow support after returning from leave, and despite reassurances that her actions weren't racially motivated, my son was still singled out. I regret having my children there and still carry the emotional scars from this experience.
Wonderful, caring, and engaged staff. The facility is always clean and the school’s playground is huge. The school provides lots of fun enrichment activities for the kids. TNCP also makes sure the parents are kept well-informed of any events involving their children.
