What Parents Say
Reviews are mixed with significant concerns about facility maintenance and management. While some parents praise the learning curriculum and teacher quality, others report serious issues including poor hygiene, worn equipment, unsafe conditions, and inadequate health protocols.
Formally Tendercare Learning Center. Now called Lily Pad Learning Center. Great daycare. They have a learning program that is second to none. My two year old came home talking about a hexagon and rectangle. He knows all the months and days of the week. I am impressed and definitely feel they are preparing my children for a successful educational career. My children are happy and love their teachers. The teachers care about the children and will do anything to see them do well. The only reason they did not get five stars was because of the condition of the preschool playground. I have spoken to the director about this issue. She has assured us parents that is something that the new Lily Pad Learning Center owner is looking into. They have made some nice additions to the front desk area. But not only that area they have made some upgrades to the rooms as well. I will also say during the Covid-19 situation. They took and are taking every precaution to keep the children safe. They did make the choice to close, but did not reopen until it was safe. Now that they are open. Before entering the daycare area the children are greeted at the front desk for their temperatures to be taken. Like I said the teachers will do anything to see the children do well. This is a great place to take your children for quality childcare.
So my experiences with my one year old daughter have been nothing but terrible there. They are always so quick to ask for their daycare fees and at the same time looking for every little reason they can to keep her from coming back...like today they kept my daughter there today with a fever of 101 degrees and never called not once to tell me my daughter was sick wich is very serious because once a brain reaches the temperature of 103 degrees .it can cause serious brain damage. And then once i picked her up they tell me o ya by the way we cant let her come back without a dr note.....at 530 pm before thet close.....i think her iq has actually lowered everyday she attended i dont know why i didnt pull her out of there sooner
Teachers are good. Owner seems to be cheap and won't replace worn out equipment. Inclement weather policy is dangerous as well.
Very dirty, have bugs, teachers seem okay, owners are alright, but facility seems very worn down, dirty, unorganized, and the playground is unstable, and worn out.
Totally unprofessional facility that is all about $$$ versus trying to learn the children.
