We had the most incredible few years here. It started with my niece who absolutely LOVED Tender Years (and still goes back for alumni movie nights!) My daughter then attended for 2 1/2 years (pre-k 3 and pre-k 4) and we could not have had a better experience. My daughter left beyond prepared for Kindergarten, and still waves hi and bye to the building when we drive past. All details of the day were well communicated and you can tell the staff truly care. Mary Beth and Cathy make this space a family. Miss Kayla, Miss Katie, and Miss Tina are loving and caring teachers who truly bring the best out of your child. We miss you TY and cannot thank you enough for the amazing experience!
Tender Years is truly an amazing place! The teachers are not only incredibly caring, but they also provide a wonderful curriculum that helps children grow and thrive. Communication with parents is excellent, and I always felt informed and connected to my son’s learning journey. Even though it’s been two years since my son graduated, he still talks fondly about his time there—it really left a lasting impression. We love that Tender Years continues to host fun alumni events like movie nights, which make us feel like part of a lifelong community. On top of that, we were lucky to meet a group of fantastic parents during our time there, many of whom we still keep in touch with today. Tender Years is more than just a daycare—it’s a nurturing, supportive, and memorable experience for both kids and families. Highly recommend!
Today was the last day of preschool for my 2nd child that I put through TY, and it was so bittersweet! Tender Years became a second home for us through our 2 kids. The teachers helped them develop in so many ways, both academically and socially. They always went the extra mile and dealt with issues very well. All of the staff was helpful in hearing out our concerns and addressing them. Three years after graduating, our daughter still enthusiastically attends Movie Nights hosted by the school, because she knows that means a reunion with the wonderful staff, teachers, and friends that she has made through this community. She says she would like to keep coming to TY until she goes to college! We are so happy to be a part of the Tender Years family and are incredibly fortunate to have landed on this place for childcare and preschool!
My children had an incredible experience at Tender Years! My daughter attended from 4 months old - PK4 and my son attended for PK4. The school and its teachers provide an extremely warm and nurturing environment where my children thrived. Both left being very prepared for kindergarten (and we all left in tears when our time with the school ended!). We love tender years, and the teachers - especially Miss Katie, Miss Kayla, Miss Chris, Miss Joy and those who moved on and retired from the school. Miss Mary Beth and Miss Cathy created a special place over 40 years ago that is just as special today. We feel lucky that we found tender years and are extremely grateful for everything they did for our children!
My daughter attended Tender Years for preK4 and we couldn't have asked for a better school! Her teachers [Ms. Katie and Ms. Kayla at the time] were everything we were looking for for her first time in a school environment. They were loving and caring, while also setting clear rules and boundaries for the kids to follow. Our daughter is one of the youngest in the class and we weren't sure if we would hold her back another year, but she learned SO much with their curriculum and was ready for kindergarten on time. She's still thriving in school, and I fully credit Tender Years for starting her off on the right path. As a first time mom, and our first experience with a school, my husband and I knew from the first tour Tender Years was going to be the best place for all of us. Our feelings were confirmed everyday. Mary Beth and Cathy made us feel like we were an extension of their family more than parents of a student. We were genuinely heartbroken on her last day, and still send her for alumni movie nights when possible! We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
