What Parents Say
Tender Years Learning Center #17 receives consistently high praise from parents and staff who emphasize the genuine care, nurturing environment, and strong relationships built between teachers and children. Parents highlight the center's clean facilities, affordability, and supportive approach to child development and behavior guidance. Multiple reviewers consider it superior to more expensive facilities due to the quality of personal attention their children receive.
As a teacher and a parent at this center, I can truly say I love everything about center 17. The teachers are like family and they take excellent care of my 9 month old. I don't have to worry about him at all while trying to do my job. Even if I didn't work here I would trust my baby with these wonderful ladies! The director and assistant are wonderful and always have the kids best interests at heart, and are quick to get any problems that should arise taken care of immediately.
An absolute diamond in the rough. I am very selective about where I allow my child, and I toured just about every facility that had room in both Macon and Warner Robins. As appealing as the private schools were, with their multiple kilns for pottery making on campus, and hired Spanish teachers that visit for lessons, there is no overcoming the value that this Tender Years provides: genuine care for children. My child is very vocal about the schools they've been to, and within one day of attendance, they begged me never to take them back to the previous 'fancier' school they were enrolled in. There are genuine relationships built, and your child is not just a number to the staff here. There is no doubt in my mind that Tender Years #17 is one of the best places you can enroll your child. If you care about creating a nurturing learning environment, this facility is on your side.
After only a few weeks of working at this center, I can honestly say it is by far the best facility for not only me as an employee but as well as my two kids. My 2 year old and 8 month old love their teachers and it is shown day in and day out how much they love my babies right back. Tender Years is such a welcoming and loving center. It feels like home each day I go to work.
My son attended the summer camp while school was out. This daycare center was the ONLY one with a space available, so I’m grateful for that. But I do believe the care was subpar. I witnessed a teacher yelling at 3 year olds while the director was present and the director didn’t care to intervene. It seemed a bit unorganized, unprofessional, and chaotic. I didn’t see much learning, or engagement from the teachers with the children at all.
My son has been at this center for a year. He started when he was 3. The teachers and directors are very informative. My son enjoys going also. The only thing I would say they could do better is keeping up with jackets and coats. Other then that I would highly recommend, 9.5/10
