My wife and I went for a tour for our young children and the teachers were not friendly at all. They gave us unwaming looks.I honestly thought it was me but the vibe we got was very unpleasant. My wife was speechless. It scared us, not to mention they have cases of viral infection spreading through the daycare from the signs posted at the classrooms. Several the most common on hands foot and mouth. A parent also shared with me they had covid several times in the infant classrooms. Which tells us they are not cleaning properly at all. We also notice they had several complaints within this year alone. We will continue our search. Thanks for the tour but we'll pass... Absolutely it was your daycare this review was not for another daycare!!!!! We know where we did our tour at!!!! Every daycare is not for every family.....the way your staff treated us there's no way we would get it mixed up or confused with any other center!!!!! All the complaints your center has in the last 6months, we don't see how your center stayed open. I'm glad you touched on the COVID situation cause we have proof it was your center inside the infant or toddler class!!!! I'll post it and tag you in it.....maybe that will help jog your memory!!!!!!
My son had to attend daycare at 7 weeks old and I could not have asked for a better center and staff to provide care and love. This location is very welcoming and has amazing communication. I am heartbroken to part ways, however this is my top recommendation for daycare in the camp hill area hands down! 10/10!!
I’m giving Tender Years 2 stars due to their nutrition program. The meals and snacks often include processed foods containing artificial dyes and flavors, which are known to negatively impact children's health and behavior. Research has linked artificial food dyes—such as Red 40, Yellow 5, and Yellow 6—to hyperactivity, attention issues, and potential behavioral changes in young children. Given how important proper nutrition is for developing minds, daycares—especially those positioned as premium—should prioritize healthier, dye-free meals. I hope to see improvements in this area soon. Our children deserve better and Tender Years should know better.
Tender Years has been nothing short of wonderful for my son. He's been there for over two years, and his development has been right on track, if not accelerated in certain areas. They managed COVID with the utmost care and safety of all of their children. Every teacher and director we've interacted with has shown the utmost care and compassion for our son and our family. I highly recommend TY (we went to the Camp Hill location) to anyone looking for childcare and early education for every age group they serve.
My 9 year old daughter attended summer camp here this past summer and I thought that all of the staff did such an excellent job! My husband and I are both essential workers and it was such a blessing that we were able to have safe and reliable care for her this summer. Our daughter loved going to camp every day, made friends quickly, and I thought that the activities and crafts were very creative and fun. Safety protocols were followed very well for COVID-19, which put me at ease with sending her in daily. It was really a bright spot for our family this summer and I am very grateful for the experience!
